2 male & 2 female found animals/free roaming or indoor living Born end of June 2026 EKH neutered [] yes/no In shelter since 22.08.2026 ________________________ We test each cat via rapid test for FIV („cat aids“, info here!) and FeLV („cat leukemia“, info here!) and clarify the status. We inform here about the risk of FIP disease („peritoneal inflammation“). ________________________ The four kittens came to us through another association, they were secured a few weeks earlier in our county. They live in a foster home near Marburg and can be visited there by appointment (contact via the animal shelter). Unfortunately, they all struggled with digestive problems, but this has now passed and they are looking for their forever homes. They do not seem to tolerate dry food, however. All four show themselves kitten-typically curious and playful. Above all, the two pretty girls Poésie and Potpourri are very fond of people. They love to be stroked, rush through the room as if there were no tomorrow and are very easy to bribe with food. They are both two lively, lively cat girls. Their two brothers Patchouli and Papillon are a bit more reserved, but still curious. Papillon also lets himself be stroked, the little Patchouli is a bit skeptical about it, however. He first likes to observe from a distance before approaching the situations. We are sure that with a patient hand and the necessary time, he will also become a cuddly cat. We also see all four of them as family cats, children could already get to know them in their foster home. Certain double packs cannot be made out at the moment, they are all very loving and playful with each other. However, we do not want to separate them from the group as single cats at all costs. Cats are, in general, very social animals that place a high value on contact with their fellow species. We do not want to undo this with the young cats and therefore do not mediate them in single housing. They can move into pure indoor living (ideally with a balcony) or, after neutering and when they are old enough, be accustomed to outdoor access in cat-friendly surroundings. We hope that the four beauties will soon find their home and be able to arrive completely. Interested in cat babies should be aware that the sweet little ones will inevitably become adult cats that have a hopefully long life of 15 to 20 years ahead of them. The decision for kittens should therefore always be made in the long term and not based on the undeniable cuteness factor. → Detailed information (as of 28.09.2026) Patchouli: Papillon: Potpourri: Poésie: (Click on the pictures to see them in full size!) The description reflects the current status, however, we reserve the right to make changes or reassessments. It can always happen that an animal shows itself differently or develops differently here in the animal shelter as well as in the new home due to changed circumstances.
