Età: 2 anni circa Penny è una dolce ragazza che è arrivata da noi per un nuovo allevamento a causa del precedente proprietario che non riusciva a gestirla - l'avevano tenuta solo per poche settimane, dopo averla trovata in rete come un Whippet, e durante quel periodo ha preso peso ed è stata visitata dal veterinario - sembra che la sua condizione di sottopeso sia dovuta a una cattiva alimentazione nella sua prima casa! Penny è un cane di natura dolce - è molto amichevole e socievole con le persone, e ama la compagnia. È anche d'accordo con altri cani, ma è molto incline al gioco! Penny soffre di alcuni problemi di ansia da separazione... e emette rumori quando viene lasciata sola. La sua casa ideale sarebbe con persone che sono molto presenti per tenerla compagnia, così come per costruire la sua fiducia nel rimanere sola per brevi periodi. Potrebbe anche beneficiare di vivere con un altro cane (a seconda del incontro tra cani). Non può vivere con i gatti. Le piace uscire e andare in giro durante le sue passeggiate, soprattutto apprezzando il tempo senza guinzaglio nei nostri recinti sicuri... tuttavia, ama anche rannicchiarsi nel suo letto con i suoi pigiami nelle giornate fredde! Ovviamente Penny deve prendere un po' di peso, e le diamo pasti regolari piccoli per aumentare il suo apporto calorico.

Age: 2 Years Approx Penny is a lovely girl who came to us for rehoming due to her previous owner not being able to cope with her – they’d only had her for a few weeks, after finding her advertised online as a Whippet, and during that time she has gained weight and been seen by the vet – it looks like her underweight condition is down to not being fed correctly in her first home! Penny is a lovely natured dog – she’s very friendly and sociable with people, and loves company. She is also okay with other dogs, but is quite intent on playing! Penny does suffer with some separation anxiety… and will vocalise when she’s left. Her ideal home would be with people who are around a lot to keep her company, as well as building her confidence to be left alone for short periods. She may also benefit from living with another dog (depending on a dog meeting). She’s unable to live with cats. She enjoys getting out and about on her walks, particularly enjoying her time off lead in our secure paddocks… however, she does also love to snuggle up in her bed with her PJs on, on chilly days! Obviously Penny needs to gain some weight, and we are feeding her regular small meals to increase her calorie intake.
