Pepper è una bella incrociata di 11 mesi in cerca di una casa calma, esperta e paziente dove può continuare a costruire la sua fiducia. Trova spaventoso incontrare nuove persone e avrà bisogno di adottanti che capiscano le sue preoccupazioni e siano impegnati ad aiutarla a sentirsi al sicuro e protetta. Mentre Pepper forma legami forti con le persone di cui si fida e le ama sinceramente, avrà bisogno di gestione intorno a persone sconosciute sia in casa che durante le passeggiate. Sarebbe più felice vivendo in una zona tranquilla con accesso al proprio giardino sicuro, completo di una recinzione di almeno 5 piedi, dove può rilassarsi e decomprimere lontano dalle pressioni del mondo esterno. Pepper dovrà anche indossare una museruola durante le passeggiate e trarrebbe beneficio da aree di camminata tranquille e campi sicuri dove può lavorare sulla sua fiducia. Sebbene Pepper sia stata socievole con i cani al centro, è più adatta come unico cane in casa.

Pepper has shown fear based behaviours and will require dedicated one-to-one support from our trainers to help set both her and her adopters up for success. In the right home, with plenty of patience, understanding, and positive guidance, Pepper has so much potential. Beneath her worries is a loving young dog who is ready to build a trusting relationship and enjoy life with a family who can help her continue to grow in confidence. Pepper is a lovely 1 year old Crossbreed looking for a calm, experienced, and patient home where she can continue to build her confidence. She can find meeting new people quite scary and will need adopters who understand her worries and are committed to helping her feel safe and secure. While Pepper forms strong bonds with the people she trusts and loves them wholeheartedly, she will need management around unfamiliar people both in the home and out on walks. She would be happiest living in a quiet area with access to her own secure garden, complete with fencing of at least 5 feet, where she can relax and decompress away from the pressures of the outside world. Pepper will also need to wear a muzzle while out on walks, and would benefit from quiet walking areas and secure fields where she can work on her confidence. Whilst Pepper has been social with dogs at the centre she is best suited as the only dog in the home.
