Pixie è una dolce Cocker Spaniel di 5 anni che si è rapidamente adattata alla vita in famiglia e si è dimostrata una ragazza dolce, affettuosa e caratteriale. Le piace trascorrere tempo nel giardino, esplorare con il naso e seppellire i suoi giochi per riprenderli in seguito! È addestrata in casa in famiglia, viaggia bene in auto e ama stare vicino alle persone. Pixie ama l’attenzione e si prenderà volentieri cura delle coccole e dell'affetto. È molto motivata dal cibo e apprezza le ricompense, anche se a volte può essere così concentrata sull'odore all'esterno che il mondo intorno a lei sembra sparire! Pixie cercherebbe una casa che possa continuare il suo addestramento e dargli tante opportunità per utilizzare il suo intelligente cervello da Cocker Spaniel. In cambio, darà tanti amori, intrattenimento e compagnia alla sua futura famiglia. Pixie è una ragazza divertente, affettuosa e vivace che cerca una casa attiva che comprenda le esigenze di un Cocker energico. Adora annusare, esplorare e trascorrere tempo all'esterno, quindi avrà bisogno di adottatori che possano offrirle molta arricchimento mentale e fisico per mantenerla felice. Pixie potrebbe essere una buona combinazione per qualcuno interessato ad attività come l'agilità, il lavoro olfattivo o altri giochi basati sull'addestramento. Pixie è estremamente amichevole con le persone e ama l'attenzione. Pixie is a lovely 5-year-old Cocker Spaniel who has quickly settled into foster care and has shown herself to be a sweet, affectionate and characterful girl. She enjoys spending time in the garden, exploring with her nose and burying toys for safekeeping before digging them back up again later! She is housetrained in foster, travels nicely in the car and enjoys being close to her people. Pixie loves fuss and attention and will happily lean in for cuddles and affection. She’s very food motivated and enjoys treats, although sometimes she can be so focused on sniffing outdoors that the world around her disappears! Pixie would love a home that can continue her training and give her plenty of opportunities to use her clever Spaniel brain. In return, she’ll provide lots of love, entertainment and companionship to her future family. Pixie is a fun, affectionate and busy girl looking for an active home that understands the needs of a lively Spaniel. She absolutely loves sniffing, exploring and spending time outdoors, so she’ll need adopters who can give her plenty of mental and physical enrichment to keep her happy. Pixie could be a great match for someone interested in activities such as agility, scent work or other training-based games. Pixie is incredibly friendly with people and loves attention. She can be a little excitable when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but she’s very affectionate and enjoys fuss and cuddles once she settles. She could live with sensible primary-school-aged children who are confident around bouncy dogs and can also have younger visiting children. Pixie has previously lived with other dogs and has mixed well with calm dogs while in our care, although she’s quite independent and is equally happy doing her own thing. She could live with another calm dog pending successful introductions at the centre, but she doesn’t need another dog in the home. Pixie does have a strong prey drive, so she will need a home without small furries, birds or livestock. Her recall is currently limited due to her love of sniffing and exploring, so ongoing training will be important. Pixie doesn’t like to be left for too long, so she is looking for adopters who can initially keep leaving hours to a minimum and gradually build these up over time.
