Poppy Sweet Poppy è molto brava, ma nasconde questa sua qualità, non sa come mostrarla. Vedi, è timida e riservata, certamente un po' spaventata. Non è uno di quei cani che vengono a salutarti. Aspetterà riluttante nel suo angolo. Forse ti permetterà di accarezzarla, forse no. La piccola ha 3-4 anni, sterilizzata, vaccinata e pesa circa 12 kg. È un bocciolo che non è ancora sbocciato, perché nessuno l'ha scelta finora. Poppy ha bisogno di una persona paziente che le dia il tempo e l'amore necessari per fidarsi e superare le sue paure. E lentamente le mura crolleranno e tutte le belle qualità nascoste dietro di esse emergeranno timidamente all'inizio, poi con sempre maggiore sicurezza. Così Poppy diventerà ciò che è sempre stata e che ha tenuto nascosto dentro di sé. Non c'è niente di più bello di vedere un cane timoroso uscire dal guscio e trasformarsi in una creatura felice con la coda che si muove e sguardi pieni d'amore. Poppy Η γλυκούλα Poppy είναι υπέροχη, αλλά το κρύβει, δεν ξέρει πως να το δείξει. Βλέπετε είναι ντροπαλή και συνεσταλμένη, σίγουρα και λίγο φοβισμένη. Δεν είναι από τα σκυλάκια που θα έρθουν καταπάνω σου να σε χαιρετήσουν. Θα περιμένει διστακτική στη γωνιά της. Ίσως σε αφήσει να τη χαϊδέψεις, ίσως και όχι. Η μικρούλα είναι 3-4 ετών στειρωμένη, εμβολιασμένη και γύρω στα 12 κιλά. Είναι ένα μπουμπουκάκι που δεν έχει ανθίσει ακόμα, καθώς δεν την έχει διαλέξει κανείς ως τώρα. Η Poppy χρειάζεται έναν άνθρωπο με υπομονή, που θα της δώσει τον χρόνο και την αγάπη που έχει ανάγκη έτσι ώστε να εμπιστευτεί και να ξεπεράσει τις φοβίες της. Και σιγά σιγά τα τείχη θα πέσουν και όλο αυτό το υπέροχο πλάσμα που κρύβεται πίσω από αυτά θα ξεπροβάλει δειλά δειλά στην αρχή και μετά με μεγαλύτερη αυτοπεποίθηση. Και τότε η Poppy θα γίνει αυτό που πάντα ήταν και το έκρυβε μέσα της. Και δεν υπάρχει τίποτα πιο όμορφο από αυτό: ένα φοβικό σκυλάκι να βγαίνει από το καβούκι του και να μεταμορφώνεται σε ένα χαρούμενο πλάσμα με κουνιστή ουρά και βλέμμα λατρείας.
