Sometimes the most beautiful friendships arise completely unexpectedly. That’s exactly what happened with Principessa (about 1 year old) and little Merle (about 15 weeks old). Although they couldn’t be more different in age, the two have become inseparable. Merle was hand-raised and was allowed to grow up at our foster home from a very young age. Our “cat mom,” Gundula, lovingly cared for the hand-raised kittens and provided them with a sense of security. From day one, Principessa took on the role of big sister. She played with Merle, cuddled with her, gave her a sense of safety, and was always by her side. As a result, a truly special bond developed between the two, one that continues to this day. Manchmal entstehen die schönsten Freundschaften völlig unerwartet. So ist es auch bei Principessa (ca. 1 Jahr) und der kleinen Merle (ca. 15 Wochen). Obwohl sie altersmäßig unterschiedlicher kaum sein könnten, sind die beiden inzwischen unzertrennlich. Merle ist eine Handaufzucht und durfte von klein auf in unserer Pflegestelle aufwachsen. Unsere Katzen“mama“Gundula hat sich liebevoll um die Handaufzuchten gekümmert und ihnen Geborgenheit geschenkt. Principessa hat dabei vom ersten Tag an die Rolle der großen Schwester übernommen. Sie hat mit Merle gespielt, mit ihr gekuschelt, ihr Sicherheit gegeben und war immer an ihrer Seite. So ist zwischen den beiden eine ganz besondere Bindung entstanden, die bis heute anhält.
