European Shorthair - EKH * approx. 05/2026 - black and white - male Indoor with secured balcony or possibly outdoor access Compatible with other cats Other: Currently in foster care and still undergoing medical treatment, not yet available for adoption at the shelter since: 08/2026 Little René was abandoned on a broken moving box above the shelter parking lot and fortunately discovered by one of our walkers there. The little one couldn't stand up, had high fever, severely elevated inflammation values and neurological abnormalities (head tremors), as he must have suffered a head trauma from a blow to the head (by accident/fall or intentionally). Currently, René is still in veterinary care and is housed in a foster care facility for better observation. He is already doing much better and we very much hope he will be completely healthy again. It will probably take a bit longer until that happens and the little one is not available for adoption yet.

Freigänger Verträglich mit Artgenossen Sonstiges: Momentan auf Pflegeplatz und noch in medizinischer Behandlung, noch nicht vermittelbar im Tierheim seit: 08/2026 Der kleine René wurde oberhalb des Tierheimparkplatzes auf einem kaputten Umzugskarton ausgesetzt und glücklicherweise von einer unserer Gassigeher dort entdeckt. Der Kleine konnte nicht aufstehen, hatte hohes Fieber, stark erhöhte Entzündungswerte und neurologische Auffälligkeiten (Kopfzittern), da er ein Kopf-Trauma durch einen Schlag auf den Kopf (durch Unfall/Sturz oder mutwillig) erlitten haben muss. Aktuell ist René noch in tierärztlicher Behandlung und zur besseren Beobachtung auf einem Pflegeplatz untergebracht. Es geht ihm schon deutlich besser und wir hoffen sehr, dass er wieder ganz gesund wird. Bis das der Fall ist, wird es vermutlich noch ein bisschen dauern und so lange steht der Kleine noch nicht zur
