Rico è arrivato a Waggy Tails nel giugno 2022, tramite Dog Watch, aveva trascorso del tempo come cane randagio ed è uno dei rari cani che abbiamo preso dall'estero. Inizialmente, non molto entusiasta degli umani, è stato meraviglioso vedere la sua personalità, la sua fiducia e la sua affezione crescere con noi, ma volevamo che avesse una sua casa. Rico è stato "zio" di molte cucciolate di cuccioli che sono arrivati e ha persino aiutato Buddy a uscire dal suo guscio e a costruire la sua fiducia con altri cani. Nel marzo 2025, Rico ha trovato la sua casa per sempre con una meravigliosa famiglia e un nuovo fratello, Murphy. Si sta sistemando magnificamente e ama vivere la sua vita al meglio. Il suo proprietario conferma che è un vero e proprio personaggio e molto felice. Gli piace anche sedersi sulle ginocchia e guardare la TV. Ci è voluto un po' di tempo, ma ne è valsa la pena!

Rico came to Waggy Tails in June 2022, via Dog Watch, he had spent time as a street dog and is one the rare dogs we have taken in from overseas. Initially, not very keen on humans, it was wonderful to watch his personality, confidence and affection grow with us but we wanted him to have his own home. Rico has been "Uncle" to multiple litters of puppies that have come in and has even helped Buddy come out of his shell and build his confidence with other dogs. In March 2025, Rico found his forever home with a wonderful family and new brother, Murphy. He is settling beautifully and loving living his best life ever. His owner confirms that he’s quite the character and so very happy. He also likes to sit on laps and watch tv. It may have taken a little while but worth the wait!
