Description: This is River, a dog often referred to as a "PPP"—a term that makes her virtually invisible. She’s been here for so many years that she no longer knows what a home or a family feels like, nor does she remember what it’s like to simply lie on a couch and relax without a single worry. Our Rivanimal team found her about three years ago. We don’t know what happened to her in her previous life, but we suspect it wasn’t anything good. Over the years, the stress of living in a kennel has taken hold of her, making anxiety her constant companion—until very recently. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and our dog trainer, River has gradually begun to rediscover her true personality: she’s a loving dog who absolutely loves having her belly scratched, giving kisses, and enjoying walks, playing fetch, and even taking a dip in any fountain she comes across. In River, you’ll discover a gaze brimming with life and intelligence that will fill your heart. If you give her a chance, the first few weeks might be challenging due to all the accumulated stress she’s carrying from her time at the shelter—but let us be honest, once that initial period passes, we’re confident she’ll become the most loyal, kind, and joyful companion you could ever have.

Hace muchos años que está aquí, tantos que no sabe lo que es un hogar, una familia, tumbarse en un sofá y estar relajada sin preocupaciones. Nuestros compañeros de Rivanimal se la encontraron va hacer 3 años, no sabemos qué le pasó en su anterior vida, pero creemos que nada bueno. Con los años, el estrés por estar en un chenil se ha ido apoderando de ella, haciendo que hasta hace poco la ansiedad fuese su compañera de vida.
