Lurcher incrocio, Femmina, 10 anni 7 mesi Sandy è una dolce ragazza felice che ama la compagnia delle persone. È molto tenera e adora ogni attenzione che può ricevere. Sandy gioca bene con altri cani senza guinzaglio, ma ha sempre il morso in bocca perché può diventare un po' sciocca quando insegue altri cani. Sandy necessita di un proprietario esperto che sia abbastanza forte da controllarla in guinzaglio. Può diventare molto buffa e indisciplinata quando incontra altri cani durante una passeggiata. Il personale è in grado di controllarla ma lei richiederebbe un proprietario che possa continuare a lavorare con lei. Come la maggior parte dei lurchers, Sandy non può essere adottata con animali piccoli (gatti, conigli ecc). Idealmente Sandy sarebbe meglio in una casa dove non venga lasciata per lunghe ore, poiché ha mostrato segni di ansia da separazione mentre era con noi. Per via dei problemi di Sandy, pensiamo che sarebbe più adatta in una famiglia senza bambini piccoli. I nuovi proprietari devono avere un giardino/recinto molto sicuro poiché Sandy può saltare 4/5 piedi senza sforzo.

Lurcher cross , Female , 10 years 8 months old Sandy is a very sweet happy girl who loves the company of people. She’s very cuddly and loves any attention she can get. Sandy plays well with other dogs off lead, but always has her muzzle on as she can get a bit silly when chasing other dogs. Sandy needs an experienced owner who is strong enough to control her on lead. She can become very silly and naughty when passing other dogs on a walk. The staff are able to control her but she would require an owner who can continue to work with her. Like most lurchers, Sandy cannot be homed with small animals (cats, rabbits etc ) Ideally Sandy would be better in a home where she would not be left for long hours, as she has displayed signs of separation anxiety while with us. Because of Sandy's issues, we feel she would be better suited in a family with no young children. Her new owners would need to have a very secure garden/yard as she can jump 4/5 foot without really trying.
