Scrabble può impiegare un po' di più per sentirsi a suo agio ed è più riservato in nuovi ambienti. Può abbaiare quando è incerto, ma se gli viene lasciato il tempo di decidere, si avvicinerà per un breve annusare, ma ci metterà più tempo a godersi le coccole, anche da persone che conosce. Avrà bisogno di una casa per adulti che sappia leggere il suo linguaggio del corpo e gli dia spazio quando necessario. La sua nuova famiglia dovrà essere disposta a continuare l'addestramento che abbiamo messo in atto per lui per aiutarlo a continuare a costruire fiducia. Scrabble è socievole con i cani, ma si sente più a suo agio con cani calmi e stabili che rispettano il suo spazio. Potrebbe beneficiare di vivere con un altro cane che lo aiuti a costruire la sua fiducia. Scrabble non ha mostrato molto interesse per i giocattoli, ma questo potrebbe svilupparsi una volta che si sarà sistemato nella sua nuova casa. Scrabble is a very worried dog looking for a calm, patient and understanding home. Scrabble is very nervous and will need time, confidence‑building and consistency in his new home. Scrabble takes time to feel comfortable and is more reserved in new environments. He can have a bark when he’s unsure but if he’s allowed to just make his own mind up, he’ll approach for a short sniff but takes longer to enjoy any hands-on fuss, even from people he knows. He will need an adult‑only home that can read his body language well and give him space when needed. His new family will need to be willing to carry on training we have put in place for him to help him continue to build confidence. Scrabble is social with dogs but is most comfortable with calm, steady dogs who respect his space. He does need to live with another dog/s that will help build his confidence, he is currently spending time in a foster home with other dogs and it has helped him immensely. It took Scrabble a while to settle into his foster home. He has been in this home a while and is still too worried to go on walks so he will need new owners with a secure and private garden - this will be a safe space for him to build his confidence. He has bonded to the adult daughter in the home and loves a fuss and will follow her around! His new owners must be happy to not walk him outside for potentially some considerable time. Scrabble is currently too worried to play with toys, but this may develop once he is settled in his new home. He will need plenty of time to settle into his new home, but then should start to enjoy short sniff walks in familiar places - however, the pace at which he is more confident to explore should be set by Scrabble. He is a worried dog, particularly by handling and has been reactive when picked up. His new owners need to have managed dogs with anxieties around handling and who are prepared to work with him to slowly build confidence and not push him too far, too quickly. Scrabble will need to build strong bonds slowly with his new owners before meeting new people and going out and about. Scrabble is a true rescue dog who will make a hugely rewarding project for his new family.
