Hanno vissuto in campagna per la maggior parte della loro vita prima di entrare nel nostro allevamento e vorrebbero continuare così. Avrebbero bisogno di una casa in campagna con accesso sicuro all'esterno per continuare ad esplorare! A causa della loro timidezza iniziale, preferirebbero andare in una casa senza bambini o con adolescenti più grandi e calmi. I gatti anziani spesso vengono trascurati, ma Smokey e Squeak hanno tanta amore da dare. Non chiedono molto - solo comodità, pazienza e gentilezza. Meet Smokey and Squeak, an incredibly special older pair who are searching for a quiet, loving home where they can spend their golden years together. This sweet mum-and-son duo share a deep bond and must be rehomed as a pair. Smokey is the grey cat and is almost 12 years old. Smokey has a cleft lip, which gives her a unique and endearing look, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying life or being the lovely companion she is. Smokey can be timid to begin with, but once she gets to know you she is super affectionate and can hardly stay still as she just wants to get pets and let you know how much she loves you! Squeak is just over 9 and is the black and white boy! He is very big, almost doubling Smokey's size! He is more timid than Smokey, but loves pets when he gets to know you. They have been roaming the countryside most of their lives before they came into our care and would love this to continue. They would need a rural home that has safe outdoor access for them to continue their exploring! Due to their initial nervousness, they would prefer to go to an adult only home, or one with older, calm teenagers. Older cats often get overlooked, but Smokey and Squeak have so much love left to give. They don’t ask for much-just comfort, patience, and kindness. In return, they’ll offer companionship, warmth, and the unique joy that only a bonded pair can bring.
