Super Spencer è un Patterdale Terrier di 10 anni che Rescue Remedies, vicino a Gatwick, West Sussex sperano di trovare la sua casa per sempre. È stato in soccorso per gli ultimi 5 anni e ora ha bisogno di una casa tutta sua. Sembra più giovane dei suoi anni, Spencer è cresciuto come unico animale domestico nella sua precedente casa, e quindi ha bisogno che la sua casa per sempre sia priva di animali. Ha ancora tanta energia e tanta personalità e sarà il più meraviglioso compagno per una persona altrettanto attiva. Ha il carattere tipico di un terrier e è pieno di divertimento. Spencer è arrivato in soccorso come un ragazzo riservato e distante ma ora è un cane molto diverso, grazie all'amore e al impegno del personale e degli volontari. Ora saluta tutti con la coda che si muove, abbaia eccitato e cerca l'amore e le coccole da chi gli si fida. Anche se è molto dolce non è molto incline ad essere toccato da persone che non conosce. Tuttavia è molto dolce e non reattivo né verso altri cani né verso le persone. Spencer ama le sue passeggiate e adorerebbe uscire con te nei bei giorni. Adora l'acqua e quando sente che è "tempo di nuotare" cammina ancora più veloce perché sa cosa sta per accadere! Ama prendere bastoni e poi asciugarsi rotolandosi nell'erba. Porta felicemente la sua palla da tennis o il suo gioco con il suono sulla passeggiata e gode di giocare nel recinto. Super Spencer cammina bene al guinzaglio e apprezzat la compagnia di amici canini tranquilli. Vorrebbe una casa senza bambini e vorrebbe che i suoi umani avessero esperienza con i terrier, fossero pazienti e disposti a lavorare con lui per costruire la sua fiducia e stabilire confini. Super Spencer is a 10yr old Patterdale Terrier who Rescue Remedies , near Gatwick, West Sussex are hoping to find his forever home. He has been in rescue for the last 5 years and now needs a home of his own. Looking younger than his years, Spencer grew up as the only pet in his previous home, and so needs his forever home to be pet free. He still has tons of energy and loads of personality and will make the most wonderful companion for an equally active person. He has the character of a typical terrier and is full of fun. Spencer arrived in rescue as a reserved and standoffish boy but is now a very different dog, thanks to the love and commitment from the staff and volunteers. He now greets everyone with a wagging tail, barks excitedly and seeks out love and cuddles from those he trusts. Although he is very loving he isn't keen on being handled by people he doesn't know. He is though very gentle, and not dog or people reactive. Spencer enjoys his walks and would love to go on lovely days out with you. He adores water and when he hears its "swimmy" time he trots even faster as he know what's coming ! He loves fetching sticks and then drying off by rolling in the grass. He happily carries his tennis ball or squeaky toy on walks and enjoys playing in the paddock. Spencer walks well on a lead and enjoys the company of calm doggy friends. He would like a child free home and would like his human(s) to have terrier experience, who are patient and willing to work with him to build on his confidence and setting boundaries.
