Dolce Thelma si è unita a Safe Rescue di recente dal rifugio pubblico di Botosani in Romania e ora è al sicuro e protetta in una casa di accoglienza a Norwich, Norfolk, sperando di andare presto nella sua nuova casa per sempre. Thelma viveva nel rifugio da molti anni ma Safe Rescue non era riuscita a valutarla e conoscerla perché il cane con cui era in gabbia era molto aggressivo. Quando sono tornati al rifugio a marzo, hanno corso il rischio e l'hanno fatta uscire e hanno scoperto che era deliziosa, quindi ora sta godendo dei comforts di una vera casa nel Regno Unito. Thelma ha 9 anni e è un incrocio di taglia media. Si inserisce bene con gli altri cani nella sua casa di accoglienza, ma potrebbe anche essere l'unico cane nella sua casa per sempre. Thelma necessiterà di un ambiente adulto e non è ancora stata testata con i gatti. Cammina bene al guinzaglio e ama le sue passeggiate, ma avrà bisogno di aumentare la sua condizione fisica dopo tanti anni di prigione. Sweet Thelma has joined Safe Rescue recently from the Botosani public shelter in Romania and is now safe and secure in a foster home in Norwich, Norfolk, hoping to go to her forever home soon. Thelma was living in the shelter for many years but Safe Rescue was unable to assess and get to know her because the dog she was in a pen with was so aggressive. When they visited the shelter again in March, they risked it and got her out and found her to be delightful, so she's now enjoying the comforts of a real home in the U.K. Thelma is 9 years old and is a medium sized Crossbreed. She is mixing well with the other dogs in her foster home, but she could also be the only dog in her forever home. Thelma will need an adult environment and has not been cat tested yet. She walks nicely on a lead and enjoys her walks, but she will need to build up her fitness level after so many years of incarceration. Please note – Safe Rescue have a policy that all dogs adopted from them must wear a slip lead on walks. Please only enquire about Safe Rescue dogs if you are happy to always use a slip lead – extendable leads are not acceptable to Safe Rescue. All dogs have to be collected and a crate must be used.
