Thor è un piccolo Husky (più corto rispetto alla varietà alta e circa 25 kg) pieno di gioia, vita e amore. Nato intorno al 2014, Thor è cieco e in un rifugio privato in Bielorussia. Chi adotta Thor probabilmente non soffrirà mai più una giornata con la salute mentale compromessa. Guarda i suoi ultimi video e vedrai che Thor ha una sicurezza passionata per gli abbracci, le coccole e l'affetto goffo e peloso. È un uomo indubbiamente affettuoso con quel viso sorridente, la coda ridicolmente impressionante simile a una nuvola di zucchero filato e l'energia giocosa del suo saltellare, saltare e balzare. I suoi freddi occhi sono l'unico indizio del suo età. (Il veterinario ha confermato che la cecità di Thor è dovuta alle cataratte). Thor è un uomo anziano, ma uno di quei tipi attivi e felici con grande energia e che può sembrare più giovane. Di poco si sa della sua vita precoce, ma essendo un animale puro è probabile che fosse stato un animale domestico. Purtroppo Thor è stato abbandonato, probabilmente quando ha perso la vista. Non si sa per quanto tempo ha aspettato pazientemente accanto alla strada dove era stato lasciato, aspettando che il padrone tornasse. Alla fine è stato portato in un rifugio privato. Thor è sterilizzato. Thor ama ancora le persone, e anche se ama il personale del rifugio, vorrebbe avere l'opportunità di mostrare affetto a una nuova persona, una coppia o una famiglia e essere amato in cambio. Thor è bravo con altri cani. Come la maggior parte dei cani ciechi, ha bisogno di presentazioni attente e non apprezzano di essere saltati addosso o avvicinati senza un saluto corretto. Ha imparato a rispettare lo spazio degli altri cani poiché apprezza anche lui lo spazio personale, ma è abituato a mescolarsi con i cani nel rifugio. Alla fiera canina (dove ha vinto il primo posto), Thor si è comportato molto bene interagendo con tante persone e molti cani sconosciuti intorno a lui. Il suo salvatore ha commentato: "Tutti volevano accarezzarlo e lui era così calmo e bravo. Gli altri cani si stavano agitando e abbaiando e lui era semplicemente seduto calmamente con il suo accompagnatore. Molti cani lo hanno annusato e sono passati direttamente accanto a lui, e lui era così calmo seduto al suo posto"

Thor is a smallish Husky (shorter than the tall variety, and about 25kg) full of joy, life and love. Born around 2014,Thor is blind and in a private shelter in Bosnia. Whoever adopts Thor is unlikely to suffer a bad mental health day ever again. Look at his recent videos and you’ll see that Thor has a confident passion for belly-rubs, cuddles, and clumsy, fluffy affection. He’s an undeniably loveable chap with that grinning face, ridiculously impressive candy-floss tail and playful tip-tappy, hop, skip and jump energy. His cool frosty eyes are really the only giveaway of his age. (The vet has confirmed Thor’s blindness is due to cataracts). Thor is a senior guy, but one of those active, happy types with amazing energy and who can pass for younger. Little is known of Thor’s early life, but as a pure breed it is likely he was somebody’s pet. Sadly, Thor was abandoned, probably when he lost his sight. It is not known for how long he sat patiently at the side of the road where he was left, waiting for his owner to return. Eventually he was taken to a private shelter. Thor has been neutered. Thor still adores people, and although he loves the staff at the shelter, he would love to have the opportunity to shower a new person, couple or family with affection again, and be loved in return. Thor is good with other dogs. Like most blind dogs, he needs careful introductions and doesn’t appreciate being jumped on or bounded up to without a proper hello. He has learned to be respectful of other dogs’ space as he appreciates it for himself now but is accustomed to mixing with dogs at the shelter. At the dog show (where he won first place), Thor interacted beautifully with lots of people and many unknown dogs all around him. His rescuer remarked: 'Everyone went to pet him and he was so calm and great. Other dogs where pulling and barking and he was just sitting calmly with his handler.
