Tobias and Clemens arrived as a surprise at Ioana's shelter. Someone threw the two pups over the shelter's fence at night. Ioana found two frightened teddy bears sitting in the grass the next morning. Tobias was a black teddy bear, and Clemens was a brown one. Since then, Tobias has only grown more vibrant. Tobias is friendly and playful, and can get along well with the other dogs in the shelter. Moreover, Tobias is not at all afraid, not of dogs, and certainly not of people. He enjoys attention and loves to be cuddled. He also loves to lie in the sun and have his belly rubbed. "He has a very fine character," says Ioana about him. Update October 2025: Tobias has grown into a beautiful dog! Behind his large, fluffy coat lies a playful young dog with a heart of gold. He is also cheerful, enthusiastic, and always up for a game: with other dogs, with his toys, or even with anything he happens to come across. Additionally, he now walks nicely on a leash and enjoys the walks he makes with his foster parent and her dogs over the fields. However, walks in the Netherlands must be built up gradually. He is a big, soft teddy bear who stands in trust and love in life. Update December 2025: Tobias continues to develop. According to his rescuer, he has become more balanced: during a visit to the vet, he remained calm in the car, walked nicely on a leash, and remained calm during the treatment. During a walk, he ran happily to a man who wanted to pet him; he clearly enjoys attention and greets people gladly. Update Tobias February 2026: Tobias recently visited the vet for a check-up. Happily, he did it all very well. While waiting, he remained calm and patient, asking politely for some pets and gently seeking contact. During the examination and treatment, he remained calm and worked well. He showed what a stable and balanced dog he is. After the visit, it was time for a nice walk, where he visibly enjoyed it. He continues to be a wonderful teddy bear with a very soft and friendly character. 🐻💛 Despite his difficult start, Tobias no longer looks back. He lives in the moment and trusts people. He is cheerful and affectionate. A large teddy bear full of love, that is Tobias to a T. He has all his vaccinations and is ready for the exciting journey to the Netherlands, to a nice adopter who will give him his golden nest. Tobias en Clemens kwamen als verrassing in de shelter van Ioana terecht. Iemand heeft de twee pups 's nachts over het hek van de shelter gegooid. Ioana vond 's ochtends twee teddyberen verschrikt in het gras zitten. Tobias een zwarte teddybeer en Clemens een bruine. Sinds dat moment is Tobias alleen maar verder opgebloeid. Tobias is vriendelijk en speels, en bovendien kan hij in de shelter goed overweg met de andere honden. Daarnaast is Tobias helemaal niet bang, niet voor honden en zeker niet voor mensen. Hij geniet van aandacht en houdt van knuffelen. Verder vindt hij het heerlijk om lekker in de zon te liggen en zijn buikje te laten aaien. “Hij heeft een heel fijn karakter,” zegt Ioana over hem. Update oktober 2025 Tobias is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een prachtige hond! Achter zijn grote, pluizige vacht schuilt een speelse jonge hond met een hart van goud. Verder is hij vrolijk, enthousiast en altijd in voor een spelletje: met andere honden, met zijn speeltjes, of zelfs met alles wat hij toevallig tegenkomt. Daarnaast loopt hij inmiddels keurig aan de lijn en geniet hij van de wandelingen die hij samen met zijn opvangster en haar honden maakt over de velden. Desondanks zal wandelen in Nederland rustig opgebouwd moeten worden. Hij is een grote, zachte knuffelbeer die vol vertrouwen en liefde in het leven staat. Update december 2025 Tobias blijft zich ontwikkelen. Volgens zijn rescuer is hij steeds evenwichtiger geworden: tijdens een bezoek aan de dierenarts bleef hij kalm in de auto, liep hij netjes aan de lijn en bovendien bleef hij rustig tijdens de behandeling. Tijdens een wandeling rende hij blij naar een man die hem wilde aaien; hij geniet duidelijk van aandacht en begroet mensen graag. Update Tobias februari 2026 Tobias is onlangs naar de dierenarts geweest voor controle. Gelukkig deed hij het daar ontzettend goed. Tijdens het wachten bleef hij rustig en geduldig zitten. Ondertussen vroeg hij vriendelijk om wat aaitjes en zocht hij zachtjes contact. Ook tijdens het onderzoek en de behandeling bleef hij kalm en werkte hij keurig mee. Hij liet zien wat voor stabiele en evenwichtige hond hij is. Na het bezoek was het tijd voor een fijne wandeling, waar hij zichtbaar van genoot. Hij blijft een geweldige knuffelbeer met een bijzonder zacht en vriendelijk karakter. 🐻💛 Ondanks zijn moeilijke start kijkt Tobias niet meer achterom. Hij leeft in het moment en vertrouwt mensen. Hij is vrolijk en aanhankelijk. Een grote teddybeer vol liefde, dat is Tobias ten voeten uit. Hij heeft alle vaccinaties gehad en is klaar voor de spannende reis naar Nederland, naar een fijne adoptant bij wie hij zijn gouden mandje krijgt.
