Questo bellissimo ragazzo, con gambe piccole e orecchie disparate, è Tomasz! È un incrocio piccolo di 13 anni con uno spirito meravigliosamente giovane. È seguito dal RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre vicino a Taunton nel Somerset. Tomasz è curioso, affettuoso e pieno di gioia per la vita. Ha una certa perdita uditiva, ma questo non lo ferma dal voler partecipare a tutto ciò che accade intorno a lui. Ha trascorso recentemente un periodo in una famiglia di accoglienza per prendersi una pausa dalla vita in gabbia, consentendo così al soccorso di vederlo rilassato in un ambiente domestico. Sebbene si sia adattato bene, Tomasz avrà bisogno di un po' di supporto e rassicurazione mentre si abitua a una nuova casa. Non è abituato a essere lasciato solo e si sente più sicuro quando è vicino alla persona. Avrà bisogno di abituarsi gradualmente a stare solo per brevi periodi. Tomasz è addestrato in casa, chiede di andare nel giardino quando deve andare in bagno, e dorme bene tutta la notte. This very handsome boy, with cute little legs and mismatched ears, is Tomasz! He is a 13-year-old small crossbreed with a wonderfully youthful spirit. He is in the care of RSPCA West Hatch Animal Centre near Taunton in Somerset. Tomasz is inquisitive, affectionate, and full of joy for life. He is quite hard of hearing, but that certainly doesn’t stop him from wanting to be involved in everything around him. Because he cannot hear you call, he needs to remain on a lead when out and about unless in a secure enclosed area. Whether he’s happily pottering around independently or curled up beside you for a cuddle, Tomasz is incredibly people-oriented and especially enjoys a good ear scratch. He recently spent some time in a foster home for a break from kennel life, which gave the rescue the opportunity to see him relaxed in a home environment. While he settled in well, Tomasz will still need a little support and reassurance as he adjusts to a new home. He is not used to being left alone and feels safest when close to his person. He will need to gradually get used to being left for short periods. Tomasz is house-trained, asks to go into the garden when he needs the toilet, and sleeps soundly through the night. He has interacted positively with other dogs and could potentially live with a calm, compatible dog. Tomasz could also live with older teenagers. He shows quite a strong interest in cats, so he would be happiest in a home without cats or smaller animals. At the moment, Tomasz is not particularly comfortable travelling, so this is something that should be introduced gradually and positively. He may travel more comfortably in a crate rather than using a seatbelt harness. Tomasz is looking for a patient and understanding family who will give him a little time to settle into home life. With consistency, reassurance, and kindness, there is no limit to what this lovely boy can achieve.
