Ty’s affectionate side really shines once he’s settled, and with the right structure and understanding, he’ll form a strong bond with his new family. If you have experience with bull breeds and are happy to embrace a dog who can be a bit silly and full-on at times, Ty could be a fantastic addition to your home. Ty is a 4-year-9-month-old bull breed with a friendly nature and a big, bouncy personality. He’s excitable when meeting new people and can get a little “pingy” and over-the-top when he’s feeling playful, so he’s looking for an owner who understands bully breed traits and can provide calm, consistent guidance. Ty would thrive in an active but relatively calm home with older teenagers who are confident around boisterous dogs. He enjoys his walks and can happily stroll alongside other dogs, but he prefers to keep his distance and isn’t keen on dogs getting in his face. A home with a secure outdoor space would be ideal, as he loves to mooch around and play tug and raggy games. While he has been left alone for periods in the past, this will need to be built up gradually again, as he’s grown more attached to people and enjoys their company.
