Originally admitted: August 18, 2020. Riki came in with her siblings as a puppy and was adopted young, but life with her family didn't work out well. Years ago they wanted to return her due to changed family circumstances, but she stayed. Unfortunately, the problems weren't resolved and she's back in care. Our hearts break seeing her sad expression and hesitant steps - she was abandoned and given up on. Riki needs a new permanent family who will never give up on her. She's described as somewhat stubborn and active. We believe with proper training and care she'd be calmer. We desperately want her back in a family soon, as kennel life would break her already damaged spirit. Riki is vaccinated and spayed, seeking her new family.
