Whoopy is a cautious kitten. She’s not afraid, but she does tend to be somewhat reserved. Here at the Animal’s Faith foundation, we’ve found that she’s a picky eater. She’ll happily eat a small portion of cooked chicken, but she leaves most types of wet food untouched. Fortunately, she has plenty of reserves. Whoopy is gradually starting to roam more freely among the group of cats. She now knows which cats it’s best to keep her distance from. It’s not the ideal situation for Whoopy to relax fully, but she’s managing just fine. She cautiously approaches others and offers head bumps. She even allows herself to be petted. In her previous home environment, stress (and/or perhaps due to a bladder infection) caused Whoopy to have occasional accidents—urinating and defecating—in specific places, such as the dog’s basket or the child’s toys. This is quite inconvenient for 13-year-old Whoopy. Whoopy is looking for a home, preferably one with a garden, where she can finally find some peace and quiet. Whoopy is een voorzichtig katje. Ze is niet bang, maar wel wat afwachtend. Hier bij stichting Animal’s Faith ervaren we haar als een moeilijke eter. Een kleine portie gekookte kip gaat er wel in. Maar veel soorten natvoer laat ze staan. Gelukkig heeft ze voldoende reserves. Whoopy begint steeds vrijer rond te wandelen in de kattengroep. Ze weet nu bij wie ze beter uit de buurt kan blijven. Het is niet de ideale situatie voor Whoopy om zich te ontspannen, maar ze redt zich wel. Ze zoekt voorzichtig toenadering en geeft kopjes. Aaien mag van haar ook. In haar vorige thuissituatie resulteerde stress (en/of misschien vanwege een blaasontsteking) voor Whoopy in plas- en poep-“ongelukjes” op specifieke plekjes zoals de mand van de hond, speelgoed van het kind. Dat is zeer onhandig van deze 13-jarige Whoopy. Whoopy zoekt een thuis, graag wel met een tuin, waar ze tot rust kan komen.
