Woody è un bellissimo cucciolo di razza mista pastore che è arrivato senza microchip, è stato trovato per strada da una persona che ha riferito di avere molti zecche, quindi sembra che abbia vagato per le strade del paese per un po'. Woody è incredibilmente affettuoso, ama le persone e sta rapidamente diventando il preferito dei volontari! È anche molto socievole e amichevole con tutti gli altri cani che ha incontrato, e sembra avvicinarsi a tutti con gentilezza e allegria. Woody non ama stare da solo, quando vede gli umani intorno, vuole sempre stare vicino a loro, e piange quando viene lasciato solo nel parco. Pertanto, pensiamo che abbia probabilmente problemi di abbandono (chi al rifugio non...) e potrebbe mostrare ansia da separazione in un ambiente domestico, quindi stiamo cercando una casa per Woody che lo accoglierà e avrà il tempo di introdurlo alla vita domestica, che avrà la pazienza di lavorare attraverso i potenziali problemi che possono sorgere nel periodo di adattamento. Woody è un ragazzo giovane e attivo, ma non è opprimente o iperattivo, ha un bel equilibrio. Naturalmente, non è un pantofolaio e cerca umani attivi, che amano fare passeggiate, escursioni nella natura e impegnarsi nell'addestramento e negli sport cinofili con Woody - forse agilità, obbedienza, forse lavoro olfattivo. Woody è un cane socievole, quindi potrebbe unirsi a una casa con altri cani già presenti, e ciò aiuterebbe sicuramente a soddisfare le sue esigenze mentali e sociali, quando ha amici canini e non dipende interamente dagli umani per tutte le interazioni sociali nella sua vita. Woody ha già superato i primi test con i gatti e potrebbe potenzialmente vivere in una casa con un gatto amichevole. La sua altezza al garrese è di 59 cm.

Woody is a beautiful Shephard mix boy who arrived to without a microchip, he was found on the streets by a person who reported that he had a lot of ticks, so it looks like he has been wandering the country streets for a while. Woody is incredibly affectionate, he loves people so much, and is quickly becoming a volunteer favourite! He is also very social and friendly with all the other dogs he has met, and seems to approach everyone with kindness and cheerfulness. Woody does not like to be alone, when he sees humans around, he always wants to be close to them, and he cries when he is left alone in the park. Therefore we think he most likely has abandonment issues (who at the shelter does not...) and might display separation anxiety in a home environment, so we are looking for a home for Woody that will take and have the time to introduce Woody to home life, who will have the patience to work through potential issues that may arise in the period of adjustment. Woody is a young and active boy, but he is not overwhelming or hyper, he has a lovely balance about him. Of course, he is not a couch potato, and is looking for active humans, who like to go walking, hiking in the nature, and engage in dog training and dog sports with Woody - perhaps agility, obedience, maybe scent work. Woody is a social dog, so he could join a household with other dogs already present, and that would definitely help with fulfilling his mental & social needs, when he has canine friends, and does not entirely depend on humans for all social interactions in his life. Woody has already passed the first few cat tests and could potentially live in a household with a friendly cat. His shoulder height is 59cm.
