Tyson is 15 years of age however he is thought to be slightly younger than his passports age maybe 13/14 years old .He is just under 14 h and is up to date with wormer , feet , teeth etc . Tyson was in his last home a very long time and was beautifully looked after and cared for , his mum just had massive changes in her life and wanted the very best for Tyson which she no longer felt she could do . Tyson is good with fencing, electric and post and rail , good to load and travel ( however only likes to travel in a lorry ) , he is good to stable , catch , rug and has been in with mares and geldings . He does suffer occasionally from mild bouts of asthma ( seasonal ) which is easy to control and look after . Tyson has been ridden regularly in his last home , he is a happy hacker who can pop a log or two . He is incredibly safe and can be ridden out on his own but needs a confident rider if he’s not with others .Tyson is not a lover of the farrier as we found out this week ,however comes around with kindness and patience …. He also doesn’t like horse and carts they scare him if they go past at the rescue site he is at .Tyson has been ridden right up until he came into the rescue so can go straight back into work , and is looking for a 121 home where he can have all the love and attention he got from his old mum If you would like to apply for Tyson you must live in Hampshire or one of the surrounding counties , you must have your own land or livery space secured . You must be prepared for a home check before adoption and again at 3 and 6 months , there is an adoption agreement to sign and an adoption fee to be paid and we also require references .
