Chonstanze was picked up in the Wiesbaden Schlosspark at the end of May 2025 and brought to us. The pretty female cat was not very enthusiastic about this and made that clear to the finders and us. When she feels cornered and sees no quick escape route, she becomes almost hysterical and will not hesitate to go on the offensive. With enough space, however, she is much more relaxed. Despite this, she will need some time to develop real trust in people. She has shown little interest in other animals as well; she and her current roommate mostly avoid each other and avoid interactions. In her new home, she would prefer to be an only cat. For Chonstanze, we are looking for a patient home with people who will take her as she is, without children and other pets. Additionally, the new home should be situated in such a way that Chonstanze can enjoy a cat-appropriate outdoor space in the greenery.

Chonstanze wurde Ende Mai 2025 im Wiesbadener Schlosspark aufgegriffen und zu uns gebracht. Davon war die hübsche Katzendame wenig begeistert und machte das den Findern und uns sehr deutlich. Wird sie in die Enge getrieben und findet keinen schnellen Fluchtweg wird sie geradezu hysterisch und scheut sich keines Falls davor in die Offensive zu gehen. Mit ausreichend Freiraum ist sie da aber deutlich entspannter. Trotzdem wird sie eine ganze Weile brauchen, um wirkliches Vertrauen zum Menschen zu fassen. Auch an Artgenossen zeigt sie sich bisher wenig interessiert, sie und ihr aktueller Mitbewohner gehen sich hauptsächlich aus dem Weg und meiden die Interaktion. In ihrem neuen Zuhause wäre sie sicher lieber Einzelkatze. Für Chonstanze suchen wir also ein geduldiges Zuhause mit Menschen, die sie nehmen, wie sie ist, ohne Kinder und weitere Haustiere. Außerdem sollte das neue Heim so gelegen sein, dass Chonstanze katzengerechten Freigang im Grünen genießen kann.
