Duke è ancora un giovane di circa 2 anni e trarrebbe davvero vantaggio da un ambiente attivo in grado di offrirgli molta stimolazione mentale e fisica. È un fantastico ragazzo con tanto potenziale. È pieno di vita e ama uscire e andare in giro ed è sempre pronto per un'avventura. Duke ha trascorso precedentemente un periodo in una casa dove era addestrato a non sporcare, ma poiché non è abituato a rimanere solo, la sua nuova famiglia dovrà costruire gradualmente questa abitudine, fornendogli tante attività per tenerlo occupato. Come molti giovani vivaci, Duke a volte può diventare un po' troppo entusiasta e non fa sempre le migliori scelte, il che può portare a comportamenti di mordicchiamento. Per questo motivo, cerca una casa paziente, esclusivamente per adulti, con adottatori che possano proseguire il suo addestramento positivo e guidarlo verso comportamenti più appropriati. Spera di avere un giardino sicuro e privato dove può giocare e esplorare felicemente. Duke è molto motivato sia dal cibo che dai giochi, il che rende l'addestramento divertente e gratificante. È desideroso di piacere e si impegna sempre al massimo e ha bisogno delle persone giuste per aiutarlo a continuare a imparare e a prosperare. Duke dovrà essere l'unico animale domestico nella sua casa definitiva e vorrebbe adottatori che possano proseguire la sua socializzazione. Viaggia bene in auto, rendendolo il compagno perfetto per avventure tranquille in campagna.

Duke is still quite a youngster at around 2 years old and would really benefit from an active home that can give him lots of mental and physical stimulation. He's a fabulous boy with so much potential. Duke does have ongoing medical needs which the center will discuss with potential adopters. Meet Duke, our handsome and energetic boy! He’s full of life and loves being out and about and is always ready for an adventure. Duke has previously spent some time in a home where he was housetrained, but as he isn’t used to being left alone, his new family will need to gradually build this up, providing him with plenty of enrichment to keep him busy. Like many lively youngsters, Duke can sometimes get a little overexcited and doesn’t always make the best choices, which can lead to mouthing behaviours. Because of this, he’s looking for a patient, adult-only home with adopters who can continue his positive training and guide him toward more appropriate behaviours. He would love a safe and secure garden of his own where he can happily play and explore. Duke is very motivated by both food and toys, which makes training fun and rewarding. He’s eager to please and always tries his hardest and he just needs the right people to help him continue learning and thriving. Duke will need to be the only pet in his forever home and would love adopters that can continue his socialisation. He also travels well in the car, making him the perfect companion for quiet countryside adventures.
