Ruhiges Gemüt, sehr lieb, kuschelt er sehr gerne. Im Tierheim hält er sich lieber in Räumen auf, als in den Außenausläufen. Grundsätzlich ist Gero verträglich mit Artgenossen, weiß aber Grenzen zu setzen. Aufgrund seines Alters sucht er eher ein ruhigeres Zuhause.
