7.5.2026 Jedi is living at home and has revealed himself to be a real couch potato. He enjoys being near people and knows how to ask for pets in his charming way, with eye contact and by turning his head. He has also shown some courage, having already visited some people to get attention and sat down contentedly next to the sofa. Mornings are the best time of day for Jedi: he is visibly happy when the family gets up, or when they come home or when they are about to go for a walk. Going up and down the stairs now goes smoothly in both directions. Particularly enjoyable for Jedi are sniffing around with the snout and licking frozen treats. Playing is still a bit foreign to him, and he hasn't been enthusiastic about joining his dog friend's play invitations, even though he is otherwise a happy and friendly tail wagger. Food is very important to Jedi, and he is always first during feeding times. Some resource guarding has become evident recently. However, all handling procedures now go smoothly and without problems. Jedi has also had the chance to practice in slightly busier environments with more people and traffic. At least in small amounts these experiences have gone very well. In addition, he has traveled short distances in the car calmly and allows himself to be lifted into the car without any problems. The affectionate Jedi is now waiting for his own home and people to whom he can curl up on the sofa for pets. 24.3.2026 Jedi has brightened up a lot and his curiosity keeps growing all the time. He has now abandoned his previous safe spot, and the sofa has become his new favorite place. Jedi enjoys being wherever - even with a child. Jedi moves around the apartment completely normally and has gained confidence to also explore the upper floor. Coming down the stairs has not yet worked, so he returned by crouching. Outdoor activities go well. Jedi has not yet met many people, but has seen a few cars and people. He does not really fear them, but is clearly unfamiliar with new things and needs encouragement. Jedi still relies strongly on other dogs, and the example of other dogs makes new situations easier for him. He becomes hesitant if he cannot go out or to the upper floor with the other dogs. It would be good for Jedi's future home to have a dog companion.

7.5.2026Jedi on kotihoidossa paljastunut oikeaksi sohvaperunaksi. Hän viihtyy ihmisten lähellä ja osaa pyytää rapsutuksia omalla hurmaavalla tavalla, katseella ja päätä kääntämällä. Rohkeutta on löytynyt myös sen verran, että hän on käynyt joiltakin vierailta hakemassa huomiota ja istahtanut tyytyväisenä viereen sohvalle. Aamut ovat Jedin mielestä päivän parasta aikaa: hän ilahtuu silmin nähden kun kotiväki herää, tai vastaavasti heidän tullessa kotiin tai kun ollaan lähdössä lenkille. Portaiden kulkeminen sujuu nykyään hienosti molempiin suuntiin. Erityisen mieleisiä puuhia Jedille ovat nuuskumatolla touhuaminen ja purutikkujen jäystäminen. Leikkiminen on hänelle vielä vähän vieras juttu, eikä hän ole toistaiseksi innostunut lähtemään mukaan koirakaverin leikkiinkutsuihin, vaikka muuten onkin iloinen ja ystävällinen hännänheiluttaja. Ruoka on Jedille tärkeä asia, paikalla hän onkin aina ensimmäisenä ruoka-aikoina. Nykyisin on ilmennyt jonkin verran resurssien puolustamista. Kaikki hoitotoimenpiteet sujuvat kuitenkin jo hienosti ja vaivattomasti. Jedi on päässyt harjoittelemaan myös hieman vilkkaampia ympäristöjä, joissa on enemmän ihmisiä ja liikennettä. Ainakin pienissä määrin nämä kokemukset ovat sujuneet oikein hyvin. Lisäksi hän on matkustanut autossa lyhyitä matkoja rauhallisesti ja antaa nostaa itsensä autoon ongelmitta. Herttainen Jedi odottaa nyt omaa kotiaan ja ihmisiä, joiden viereen saa käpertyä sohvalle rapsuteltavaksi. 24.3.2026Jedi on piristynyt valtavasti ja uteliaisuus kasvaa koko ajan. Hän on nykyään hylännyt aiemman turvapaikkansa, ja sohvasta on tullut uusi lempipaikka. Siellä Jedi viihtyy kenen vieressä tahansa – jopa lapsen. Jedi liikkuu asunnossa jo täysin normaalisti ja on rohkaistunut tutkimaan myös yläkerran. Alas portaista tuleminen ei vielä onnistunut, joten paluu tapahtui sylikyydillä. Ulkoilut sujuu hyvin. Jedi ei ole vielä kohdannut kovin paljon vastaantulijoita, mutta muutamia autoja ja ihmisiä on nähty. Hän ei varsinaisesti pelkää, mutta on selvästi tottumaton uusiin asioihin ja tarvitsee rohkaisua. Jedi tukeutuu edelleen vahvasti muihin koiriin, muiden koirien esimerkki tekee uusista tilanteista hänelle helpompia. Hän jää vinkumaan, jos ei pääse muiden koirien mukaan ulos tai yläkertaan. Jedin tulevassa kodissa olisikin hyvä olla koirakaveri.
