Aggiornamento 14.7.2025: Jerry. Cosa dire di Jerry? È uno dei padri fondatori del Progetto Souda Shelter. È stato lì fin dall'inizio del nostro tempo. È antisociale con gli umani. Non gli piace essere toccato affatto. Ha paura di noi. Di tutti. O almeno così credevamo. Ieri ha avuto il suo controllo annuale dal veterinario e il medico ha notato che aveva seborrea e ha consigliato di lavarlo con uno shampoo per la dermatite seborroica. Ma come diavolo facevamo a farlo?! Jerry?! Contatto?! Eppure, la mia fantastica squadra lo ha fatto. E lui ha apprezzato con tutto il cuore! Jerry è al rifugio da dieci anni. La gente lo ignora subito perché abbaia e è timido. Bene, questa è l'altra parte di Jerry. Guardate l'espressione felice sul suo volto. Mai prima d'ora aveva ricevuto un tale trattamento, pensavamo che odiasse. Niente di meno. L'espressione sul suo viso mi fa piangere. Più trattamenti per la spa per Jerry! Lo amiamo e speriamo che qualcuno legga questo post e ti ami allo stesso modo (forse anche di più). Non fate in modo che la sua vita si riduca al tempo trascorso in un rifugio. Dategli una possibilità e mostrategli qualcosa di nuovo, sicuro e meraviglioso...una casa. Aggiornamento 14.12.2022: Jerry, un Labrador misto bello, nato a aprile 2013. Questo dolce ragazzo è un'anima gentile che si intende bene con altri animali, ma è molto cauto e timoroso con le persone. Potrebbe avvicinarsi per un premio, ma non è ancora comodo ad essere toccato. Jerry ha bisogno di una casa speciale con un gestore esperto che possa comprendere la sua paura e aiutarlo a costruire fiducia e sicurezza. Ha bisogno di qualcuno paziente e disposto a dedicargli tempo per aiutarlo a superare le sue paure, e che possa offrirgli un ambiente sicuro e confortevole dove possa prosperare. Not much is known about his past, but Jerry is extremely cautious around people. Describtion/Updates/Pictures: Update July 2025: What to say about Jerry? He is one of the founding fathers of the Souda Shelter Project. He’s been there since the beginning of our time. He is anti social with humans. He does not like to be touched at all. He is terrified of us. Everyone. Or at least we thought. Yesterday he had his annual checkup at the vet and the doctor noted that he had seborrhea and recommended that we bathe him with a shampoo for seborrheic dermatitis. How the heck would we do that?! Jerry?! Contact?! And yet, the team did. Jerry has been at the shelter for ten years plus. People immediately dismiss him because he barks and is timid. Well this is the other side of Jerry. He has NEVER gotten this kind of treatment ever, we thought he would hate it. Far from it. To more spa treatments Jerry! We love you and hope someone will see this post and love you the same♥️ (maybe even more). Please don’t let his life amount to time in a shelter. Give this old boy a chance and show him something new, secure and wonderful…a home Update December 2021: This sweet boy is a gentle soul who gets along well with other animals, but he is quite cautious and fearful around people. He may approach them for a treat, but he is not yet comfortable with being touched. Jerry is in need of a special home with an experienced handler who can understand his fear and help him build trust and confidence. He needs someone who is patient and willing to take the time to help him overcome his fears, and who can provide him with a safe and comfortable environment where he can thrive. With the right guidance, Jerry has the potential to become a loving and loyal companion.
