Layla è un incrocio vivace di tre anni con tanto entusiasmo per la vita, che cerca una casa attiva in grado di corrispondere alla sua energia. Adorerebbe vivere con una famiglia che ama uscire per lunghe passeggiate, esplorare luoghi nuovi e darle tanta attività quotidiana. Una casa con accesso a un giardino sicuro sarebbe ideale, dove Layla può allungare le gambe e proseguire il suo programma di addestramento per l'igiene. È felice di salutare e fare amicizia con i cani in giro e ha interagito senza guinzaglio con un amico Labrador qui al Oak Tree. Layla non ha avuto la migliore fortuna durante il suo tempo in recinto e non è mai stata data la possibilità di ambientarsi correttamente una volta in una nuova casa. È molto orientata al cibo, il che è molto utile per l'addestramento. Layla può essere lasciata fino a 5 ore una volta ambientata in una nuova routine. La sua nuova famiglia dovrebbe procedere con calma con lei all'inizio e avere un'area separata in casa per farla ambientare, poiché è stata spaventata alcune volte quando era nel suo letto e sul divano. Ha bisogno di qualcuno che capisca che è molto cauta nel farsi toccare le zampe e avrà bisogno di tempo per ambientarsi e adattarsi senza pressione. È intelligente e sa sedersi, sdraiarsi, dare la zampa e ha un buon richiamo in un recinto sicuro. Fuori, nelle sue passeggiate, come ci si aspetterebbe da un Spaniel, vuole partecipare a tutto, andando in ogni direzione, è molto occupata con una coda che non smette mai di muoversi. Layla avrà bisogno di arricchimento e attività in casa, quindi una famiglia attiva è preferibile. Vorremmo che vada in famiglia di accoglienza con l'obiettivo di adottarla, per permettere al nostro team di addestramento di supportare Layla nel passaggio dal recinto a una nuova casa con alcune visite e controlli finché non sentiamo che è pronta per l'adozione.

Layla is a lively three-year-old crossbreed with a big zest for life, looking for an active home that can match her energy. She would love living with a family who enjoy getting out for long walks, exploring new places, and giving her plenty of daily exercise. A home with access to a secure garden would be best, where Layla can stretch her legs and continue her house-training routine. She is happy to say hello and make friends with dogs out and about and has mixed off lead with a Labrador friend here at Oak Tree. Layla hasn’t had the best of luck during her time in kennels and has never been given the time to settle properly once in a new home. She is very food orientated which is very beneficial with training. Layla can be left up to 5 hours once settled into a new routine. Her new family would be advised to take things slowly with her at first and have a separate area in the home for her to settle as she has been startled a couple of times when in her bed and on the sofa. She needs someone who understands that she is very hesitant with her paws being touched and will need time to settle and adapt without pressure. She is clever and is knows sit, down , paw and has a good recall in a secure paddock. Out and about on her walks, as you’d expect from a Spaniel, she likes to be into everything, going in every direction, she’s super busy with a tail that never stops. Layla will need enrichment and exercise in the home, so an active family is preferable. We would like her to go on foster with view to adopt first, to allow our training team to support Layla with the transition from kennels to a new home with a couple of visits and check ins until we feel she is ready to be adopted.
