LeilaMilan found Leila by chance while driving. She was emaciated by the roadside and looked pitiful. All her ribs were visible, and it was obvious that life on the street had taken everything from her. Milan took the shy mouse with her and brought her to the shelter. However, she doesn't really feel comfortable here. It's clearly too much for her to live among so many fellow dogs. Therefore, Milan has moved her to one of the back stalls. There she has company, isn't pressured, and can easily go out for walks, which she loves so much. Leila is a gentle, affectionate female dog. She likes people and enjoys cuddling. Living with another dog would be absolutely no problem, but we think Leila could also be very happy as a single dog. Thunderstorms are something she absolutely hates. Unfortunately, she shares this fear with many dogs. As soon as a storm approaches, Leila starts trembling and seeks safety and physical contact, or sits, like in her profile picture, trembling in one spot. Otherwise, Leila is very easygoing. She loves being outside, so she is ideal for people who like to go for walks or hikes. Info: What does it mean that the dog is not yet ready for adoption? Our dogs are regularly vaccinated according to regulations. Rabies vaccination is done annually in Serbia. To transport dogs from Serbia, which is now a listed third country, into the EU, they need a corresponding rabies titer. This measures whether there are enough antibodies against rabies in the blood. For Serbia, the titer certificate must be at least 3 months old upon entry into the EU. Since titers are quite expensive, not all dogs have the certificate, but it is only done when needed. If a dog is adopted, it can take up to 3 months until it is ready for adoption. Blood is taken from the dog and sent to the lab. Es ist ihr offensichtlich zu viel, zwischen so vielen Artgenossinen leben zu müssen.Daher hat Milan sie in eine der hinteren Boxen umgezogen. Dort hat sie Gesellschaft, wird nicht bedrängt, und sie kann problemlos raus zu den Spaziergängen, die sie so sehr liebt.Leila ist eine sanfte, zugewandte Hündin.Menschen mag sie sehr uns kuschelt gerne.Ein Zusammenleben mit einem Ersthund wäre absolut unproblematisch, wir denken aber, dass Leila auch als Einzelhund sehr glücklich sein könnte.Gewitter sind etwas, dass sie überhaupt nicht mag.Sie teilt diese Angst leider mit vielen Hunden.Sobald sich Gewitter ankündigt, fängt Leila an zu zittern und sucht Sicherheit und Körperkontakt, oder sitzt, wie auf ihrem Profilbild, zitternd auf einem Fleck.Ansonsten ist Leila sehr unproblematisch.Sie liebt es draussen unterwegs zu sein, eignet sich daher sehr für Menschen die gerne Spazieren oder Wandern gehn. Info:Was bedeutet, dass der Hund noch nicht ausreisefertig ist?Unsere Hunde werden regel- und vorschriftsmäßig geimpft. Tollwutimpfung wird in Serbien jährlich gemacht.Um aus Serbien, das mittlerweile ein gelistetes Drittland ist, Hunde in die EU verbringen zu können, brauchen sie einen entsprechenden Tollwuttiter.Der misst, ob genügend Antikörper gegen Tollwut im Blut sind.Für Serbien gilt, dass der Titernachweis bei Einreise in die EU, mindestens 3 Monate alt sein muss.Da Titer recht teuer sind, haben nicht alle Hunde das Zertifikat, sondern es wird erst bei Bedarf gemacht.Wird ein Hund adoptiert, kann es daher 3 Monate dauern, bis er/sie ausreisefertig ist.Dazu wird dem Hund Blut abgenommen, und ins Labor geschickt.Das ist auch der Grund, warum unsere Hunde frühestens mit 8 Monaten vermittelbar, bzw. ausreisefertig sind.
