A small and more delicate looking Collie (smaller and more slender in build than a typical German Shepherd) came to the shelter from an apartment in Riga. The owner had disappeared, leaving the animal alone. Days and weeks passed, but there was no word or trace from the owner; the dog was not microchipped... At first, Margo seemed very nervous; we even thought she might be one of the scared and jumpy dogs. However, after overcoming the stress of coming to the shelter, Margo revealed herself to be a cheerful and active dog. She does not like her breed mates and sisters, but with some work, everything will be fine. Margo is adoptable by people with experience in raising dogs. However, we would recommend a home without very young children on a daily basis. The dog can also live in an apartment. With a little training, Margo will become a great friend and a reliable companion.

Vilkveidīgā sunīte (augumā mazāka un miesasbūvē smalkāka nekā tipisks vācu aitu suns) patversmē nonāca no kāda dzīvokļa Rīgā. Īpašnieks bija pazudis, atstājot dzīvnieku vienu pašu. Gāja dienas un nedēļas, bet no saimnieka nebija ne ziņas, ne miņas; sune nebija čipēta… Sākumā mums Margo likās ļoti nervoza; pat pieļāvām, ka viņa būs viena no iebiedētajām un raustītajām sunēm. Tomēr, pārvarējusi patversmē nonākšanas stresu, Margo atklājās kā jautra un aktīva sune. Viņai gan (vismaz patversmes vidē) nepatīk sugasbrāļi un māsas, taču, nedaudz pie tā piestrādājot, viss būs kārtībā. Margo ir adoptējama cilvēkiem ar pieredzi suņu audzināšanā. Mēs tomēr ieteiktu vidi bez pavisam mazu bērnu klātbūtnes ikdienā. Sunīte var dzīvot arī dzīvoklī. Viņu mazliet paskolojot, Margo kļūs par lielisku draugu un uzticamu kompanjonu.
