Would like to be placed together with Pardoes. Unfortunately, the almost one-year-old Pardoes and Pardijn could no longer stay in their house. There were a lot of kindred spirits. So the brothers came to our animal shelter to look for a new, nice home. Do you have a basket for Pardoes and Pardijn? These are Pardoes and Pardijn. Their names will be familiar to most people from the mascots of the Efteling. Our Pardoes and Pardijn are lovely, cheerful, and friendly boys. At first, the men had to get used to it, which we can completely understand, and they still find everything quite exciting. Pardijn is the smallest and has the least rest in his bottom. But he is also adventurous and energetic and likes to go on expeditions. Pardijn is also the one who comes to you first to give headbutts and hugs, and he finds this so nice that he sometimes doesn't know how to express it well. Pardijn may bite a little. It's not meant to be mean and it's not hard, but it's something to take into account. It's quite possible that this behavior will decrease in their own home once Pardijn has gotten used to it. Pardoes is a bit bigger and calmer than his brother. With his more cautious nature, he likes to get to know you first. In the beginning, he may even walk around you in a circle. But he also finds pats and cuddles very nice, so if you approach him calmly and invite him, he will come to you for attention. Pardoes can also lie nicely next to you 'chilling'. Whether both boys like to lie on your lap, we don't know yet. They might not have time for that anyway, because of course they need to play. A feather lure or a stick with feathers - Pardoes and Pardijn love it! They are prey-driven and like to drag the toy along to play a bit further or chew on it. Although both gentlemen are black and white, they are fortunately easy to tell apart. Pardijn, in fact, has a funny, one white and one black ear. Good to know about Pardoes and Pardijn. Because Pardoes and Pardijn still find everything a little exciting, they are supported with the natural supplement Zylkene. The advice is to continue this in their new home to make the transition easier, and to gradually reduce it after a few months. Pardijn had an operation on his eye. This has healed well and he doesn't need any medication. What this means for you if Pardijn comes to live with you, our veterinarian will explain in a (telephonic) conversation. This conversation is part of the adoption process. What kind of home are they looking for? For these lovely men, we are looking for a house with a garden, so they can go exploring after their adjustment period. It seems they enjoy having their human regularly at home to give them attention, but they can also entertain themselves well. The gentlemen are social towards other cats, as they grew up with several kindred spirits. There was also a dog (a Jack Russell) in the house where the men lived, but we don't know if they found that pleasant. Wil graag samen geplaatst worden met Pardoes Helaas konden de bijna eenjarige Pardoes en Pardijn niet in hun huisje blijven wonen. Er waren wel erg veel soortgenootjes. Dus kwamen de broers naar ons asiel om op zoek te gaan naar een nieuw fijn huisje. Heb jij een mandje voor Pardoes en Pardijn? Dit zijn Pardoes en Pardijn Hun namen zullen de meeste mensen wel herkennen van de mascottes van de Efteling. En ook onze Pardoes en Pardijn zijn lieve, vrolijke en gezellige ventjes. In het begin moesten de mannen even wennen, wat wij goed kunnen begrijpen, en nog steeds vinden ze het allemaal best spannend. Pardijn is de kleinste en heeft de minste rust in zijn kont. Maar hij is ook avontuurlijk en energiek en gaat graag op onderzoek uit. Pardijn is ook degene die als eerste op je af komt om kopjes te geven en knuffels te halen. En dat vindt hij af en toe zó fijn dat hij niet zo goed weet hoe hij dat moet uiten. Pardijn kan dan een beetje bijten. Dit is niet gemeen bedoeld en het gaat ook niet hard, maar het is wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Het is goed denkbaar dat dit gedrag minder wordt in een eigen huisje, als Pardijn eenmaal gewend is. Pardoes is een stukje groter en wat rustiger dan zijn broer. Met zijn meer afwachtende aard leert hij je graag eerst even kennen. In het begin kan hij dan ook met een boogje om je heen lopen. Maar hij vindt aaitjes en knuffels toch ook wel heel fijn, dus als je hem rustig benadert en uitnodigt komt ook hij naar je toe voor aandacht. Pardoes kan ook lekker in je buurt liggen ‘chillen'. Of de beide boys graag op schoot liggen weten we nog niet. Daar hebben ze misschien ook geen tijd voor, want er moet natuurlijk ook gespeeld worden. Een hengel met veer of een stok met veertjes eraan – Pardoes en Pardijn vinden het prachtig! Ze zijn wel prooigericht en slepen het speeltje graag mee om er een eindje verderop mee te spelen of erop te kauwen.Hoewel beide heren zwart met wit zijn, zijn ze gelukkig prima uit elkaar te houden. Pardijn heeft namelijk, heel grappig, een wit en een zwart gekleurd oor. Goed om te weten over Pardoes en Pardijn Omdat Pardoes en Pardijn alles nog een beetje spannend vinden, worden zij ondersteund met het natuurlijk supplement Zylkene. Het advies is om dit in hun nieuwe huisje door te zetten om de overgang wat te vergemakkelijken, en na een paar maanden rustig af te bouwen. Pardijn heeft een operatie aan zijn oog gehad. Dit is goed genezen en hij heeft geen medicatie nodig. Wat het voor jou betekent als Pardijn bij je komt wonen, zal onze dierenarts in een (telefonisch) gesprek toelichten. Dit gesprek maakt onderdeel uit van de adoptieprocedure. Wat voor huisje zoeken zij Voor deze lieve mannen zijn we op zoek naar een huis met een tuin, zodat ze na hun wenperiode lekker op onderzoek kunnen gaan. Het lijkt ze fijn als hun mens regelmatig thuis is om ze aandacht te geven, maar ze kunnen zichzelf ook goed vermaken. De heren zijn sociaal naar andere katten, omdat ze opgegroeid zijn met meerdere soortgenootjes. In het huis waar de mannen woonden was ook een hondje aanwezig (een Jack Russell), maar we weten niet of ze dit prettig vonden. Pardoes en Pardijn hebben geen probleem met oudere, rustige kinderen die weten hoe je met katten omgaat.
