Rossi potrebbe non essere così veloce del suo nome ma è ancora un ragazzo attivo per i suoi 10 anni. È un ragazzo amichevole che si sconvolge facilmente, ma si è adattato bene alla sua casa di accoglienza e saluta con entusiasmo la sua persona ogni volta che torna a casa. Ama essere pettinato e parlato delicatamente e dormirà contento nel suo letto. Questo sembra il suo spazio sicuro e se è lì dovrebbe essere lasciato solo. Rossi ama stare all'esterno ed è molto interattivo quando non è al guinzaglio e spesso cercherà una bella grattata dal suo accompagnatore, e preferisce spazi tranquilli e parchi poiché non gli piacciono le strade affollate. Ha convissuto con altri cani in precedenza e quando era in gabbia sembrava prendere lo stress degli altri e diventare reattivo, ma nella sua casa di accoglienza ha fatto un amico, sebbene sia stato necessario del tempo. In generale ignora gli altri cani ma può diventare reattivo se sono vicini e lui si sente a disagio. Saremmo felici di vederlo andare a casa con una famiglia che gli darà tempo per fidarsi di loro e aiutarlo a costruire la sua autostima al suo ritmo. Rossi è un gentiluomo anziano e i suoi comportamenti e abitudini possono sembrare complessi a volte ma è solo un cane preoccupato che ha bisogno di qualcuno che lo guidi. Rossi può vivere con bambini di età superiore ai 14 anni ma nessun altro animale domestico. È addestrato in casa e può essere lasciato solo per circa tre ore senza problemi una volta che si è abituato. Rossi ha una lieve lussazione delle patelle delle due ginocchia che non lo disturba. Viaggia bene in auto e salterà volentieri dentro.

Rossi may not be as fast as his namesake these days but he's still an active boy for his 10 years. He is a friendly boy who gets overwhelmed easily, but he has settled well into his foster home and greets his carer excitedly each time she comes home. He loves to be brushed and spoken to gently and will sleep contentedly in his own bed. That seems to be his safe space, and he should be left to himself if he’s in there. Rossi enjoys being outside and is very interactive when off his lead and will often seek a nice scratch from his handler, and he prefers quiet spaces and parks as he doesn’t like busy roads. He lived with other dogs previously and when in kennels he seemed to feed off their stress and become reactive himself, but in his foster home he has made a friend, though it’s taken a while. He generally ignores other dogs but can be reactive if they’re nearby and he is uncomfortable. We would love to see him go home to a family that will give him time to trust them and help him continue to build his confidence at his pace. Rossi is a senior gentleman and his behaviours and habits can seem complex at times but he’s just a worried dog who needs someone to guide him. Rossi can live with children over the age of 14 but no other pets. He is house trained and can be left alone for up to three hours without worry once he's settled in. Rossi has minor luxation of both patella that doesn't bother him. He travels well in the car and will happily jump in.
