ROY is an old, proud, intelligent, and — let's be honest — a bit competitive little dog. When he wants something, he makes it known, with that sweet and genuine possessiveness of someone with his own character and a huge heart. The volunteers at the ENPA animal shelter in Treviso know him well: with patience and some compromise, they have learned to speak his language. And in his own way, he has reciprocated. Because ROY, despite his age and tough exterior, has been won over by this big family — and they by him. He has spent his whole life in a dog shelter, but he has never stopped surprising: he is dynamic, loves car rides, and on a leash he is a gentleman. A real character, unique and irreplaceable. Roy è un anziano bassottino fiero, intelligente e — diciamocelo — un tantino competitivo. Quando desidera qualcosa, lo fa sapere, con quella possessività dolce e autentica di chi ha un carattere tutto suo e un cuore grandissimo. I volontari del rifugio ENPA di Treviso lo conoscono bene: con pazienza e qualche compromesso, hanno imparato a parlargli la lingua giusta. E lui, a modo suo, ha ricambiato. Perché Roy, nonostante gli anni e la scorza dura, si è lasciato conquistare da questa grande famiglia — e loro da lui. Ha trascorso tutta la vita in canile, ma non ha smesso di stupire: è dinamico, ama le passeggiate in auto e al guinzaglio è un signore. Un vero personaggio, unico e irripetibile.
