Roy is a proud old, intelligent and — let's face it — a little competitive. When he wants something, he lets him know, with that sweet and authentic possessivity of those who have their own character and a very great heart. The volunteers of the ENPA refuge in Treviso know him well: with patience and some compromises, they learned to speak to him the right language. And he, in his own way, returned. Because Roy, despite the years and the rough streak, let himself be conquered by this great family — and them by him. He spent his whole life in the barrel, but he did not stop astonishment: he is dynamic, loves walks in the car and on the leash he is a gentleman. A true character, unique and unrepeatable. Roy è un anziano bassottino fiero, intelligente e — diciamocelo — un tantino competitivo. Quando desidera qualcosa, lo fa sapere, con quella possessività dolce e autentica di chi ha un carattere tutto suo e un cuore grandissimo. I volontari del rifugio ENPA di Treviso lo conoscono bene: con pazienza e qualche compromesso, hanno imparato a parlargli la lingua giusta. E lui, a modo suo, ha ricambiato. Perché Roy, nonostante gli anni e la scorza dura, si è lasciato conquistare da questa grande famiglia — e loro da lui. Ha trascorso tutta la vita in canile, ma non ha smesso di stupire: è dinamico, ama le passeggiate in auto e al guinzaglio è un signore. Un vero personaggio, unico e irripetibile.
