Adopt Tom

Introduction: Tom is an intelligent boy who will be looking for a fun active home. He weighs around 28kg. Home wanted: Being a Collie x Poodle, Tom is a very smart and very active dog who will be looking for a home to provide him with both mental and physical stimulation. He would like kind patient adopters, as he will require some behavioural support. He is housetrained, ok to travel and fine being left alone. Would like to have his own secure garden to play and goof around in. Behaviour towards people/children: Tom is friendly with people. He would be ok to live with children 10+, though may consider slightly younger if used to large bouncy dogs and home experienced. Other animals: Tom is social with other dogs and could live with a suitably matched dog. He would love to go on walks with regular doggy friends. High prey drive, so not suited to living with cats, small furies or livestock as will chase. Additional needs (behavioural/extra support): High energy and active breed mix, adopters need to do research and ensure able to meet training and behaviour requirements. Ideally would need a home with experience of high energy dogs. Would prefer semi-rural or rural location rather than busy town/city as worried by traffic.
