Alfonso is een prachtige grijze tabby kat die door de gezondheidsautoriteiten opgepikt is zonder chip. Hij is momenteel in het dierenasiel, waar we hebben waargenomen dat hij een zeer angstige en gevoelige kat is. Op dit moment laat hij geen fysieke contact toe; wanneer iemand naar hem toe komt, raakt hij gestrest, klimt hij via de katdeur omhoog en probeert hij zich dan te verbergen onder de hangmat om veilig te voelen. Zijn gedrag is het gevolg van angst en wantrouwen. Alfonso heeft een familie nodig met ervaring met schuwe katten, die zijn proces begrijpen, zijn ritme respecteren en bereid zijn om hem tijd, geduld en een kalme omgeving te geven. Met ondersteuning en stabiliteit zal hij stapje voor stapje kunnen groeien. Alfonso is a beautiful grey tabby cat who was picked up by the health authorities without a microchip. He is currently at the shelter, where we have observed that he is a very fearful and sensitive cat. At the moment, he does not allow physical contact; when someone approaches him, he becomes stressed, climbs up the cat flap and then tries to hide under the hammock to feel safe. His behaviour is the result of fear and mistrust. Alfonso needs a family with experience with shy cats, who understand his process, respect his pace and are willing to offer him time, patience and a calm environment. With support and stability, he will be able to progress little by little.
