Alfonso is a beautiful grey tabby cat who was picked up by the health authorities without a microchip. He is currently at the shelter, where we have observed that he is a very fearful and sensitive cat. At the moment, he does not allow physical contact; when someone approaches him, he becomes stressed, climbs up the cat flap and then tries to hide under the hammock to feel safe. His behaviour is the result of fear and mistrust. Alfonso needs a family with experience with shy cats, who understand his process, respect his pace and are willing to offer him time, patience and a calm environment. With support and stability, he will be able to progress little by little.
