Erin is een prachtige 19 maanden oude Labrador die op zoek is naar een tijdelijke opvang thuis met als doel adoptie om haar te helpen bij de volgende stap in het leven met een gezin. Erin houdt van leren. Oefening is haar gelukkigste plek, en zij zou zich goed ontwikkelen in een huis waarin het werken met hun hond met liefde en positieve methoden leuk is. Ze heeft al een fijn klein repertoire aan vaardigheden, loopt goed aan de lijn en heeft goede terugroep, maar zoals veel jongeren, kunnen haar oren eventueel tijdelijk op vakantie gaan als er iets extra smulpigs verschijnt! Blijvende aandacht voor terugroep is belangrijk voor haar. Ze zou graag willen wonen met nog een hond die blij is haar in huis te hebben en haar de regels kan uitleggen. Erin is vriendelijk tegen zowel honden als mensen en geniet echt van gezelschap. Erin had eerder chirurgie voor ellebogendysplasie. Ze is zeer goed hersteld, en zowel haar dierenarts als fysiotherapeut zijn tevreden met haar voortgang. Ze zou profiteren van doorlopende fysiotherapie en een langzaam, verstandig opbouwen naar volledige conditie. Dit betekent geen balgooien (zoals altijd, iets wat we niet aanraden). Geen overmatige of intensieve oefening. Geen uren van wild rennen. In plaats daarvan zal Erin zich ontwikkelen met structurele wandelingen, oefeningen, verrijking en rustige routines. Zoals met alle onze honden, zal Erin tijd nodig hebben om af te koelen en zich te settelen. Vriendelijkheid, geduld en begrip zijn essentieel, en wij zullen er zijn om haar opvanggezin/adopter elke stap van het proces te ondersteunen. Momenteel in Surrey. Erin heeft het volgende nodig: - Een rustig, geduldig gezin dat vastbesloten is om positieve, geweldloze oefening te gebruiken. - Een huis zonder jonge kinderen (Erin is goed met mensen, maar omdat ze niet veel tijd heeft doorgebracht met kinderen, willen we iedereen op succes stellen). - Een huis waarin ze niet uren alleen wordt gelaten. - Een huis waarin de familie tijd heeft om hard te werken aan haar oefeningen. - Iemand die begrijpt dat het sich inwonen tijd, vriendelijkheid en richting vergt.

Banjo turns 7 in September 2026. He is a bouncy, happy boy, full of enthusiasm, always ready to say hello, and very keen to take treats. He loves a cuddle too. As a large Mastin, he needs an understanding and experienced home. Because of his big, goofy energy, we ask for no small children. We also ask that Banjo is the only dog in the home. We do not know how he will be with other dogs, and we feel it is kinder and safer for everyone if he is the only pet. We can support gentle introductions to life outside of kennels and help him adjust to the wider world. Banjo will need time to settle into his new home. He is bursting with love and energy, and we feel it would be wonderful for him to receive all the attention he deserves. His humans will need patience and understanding as he finds his feet. His adopters must have large guardian‑breed experience and be able to provide safe separation when needed, giving Banjo his own space to relax and decompress whenever he chooses. Banjo has received excellent care, but he now truly needs a home environment. We will provide full support and guidance to help Banjo and his new family succeed. He has spent too long in kennels. Although he does get time in the house and settles beautifully, he will still need to adjust to a new environment and routine. Banjo needs space. He loves to run, do zoomies, and enjoy himself. He would also appreciate a quiet area of his own for resting and settling in. This boy has so much love to give. He adores everyone at the kennels, but we know he needs a sofa to call his own… or a lovely big comfy bed! Banjo has had surgery on both hips due to hip dysplasia. He is now affectionately known as “Bionic Hips” because he bounds and jumps around with confidence and comfort. Other than this, he is fully fit and ready for adventures—with slow, steady build‑ups of course. He is currently in Barrow‑Upon‑Humber. Multiple meet‑and‑greets will be required. Home checks and an adoption fee apply. He thrives with one‑to‑one attention and would prefer to be the only pet. He is very big and very bouncy—an unsafe combination around small children. Banjo loves to run, play, and do zoomies. He needs room to stretch his legs. He gives so much affection and deserves the same in return.
