Honden: Ja, alleen gesteriliseerde honden. EEN BRIEF INFORMATIE OVER MEE Persoonlijkheid: Chip was de achtste en laatste puppy in haar klas en is de zeurkous, zeer liefdevolle ster van de groep. Ze heeft een lieve natuur en houdt er absoluut van het middelpunt van de aandacht te zijn, alles op te snorren wat er komt. Terwijl haar zelfvertrouwen groeit, ontdekt ze de wereld met dappere kleine stappen – terwijl ze haar status als onbetwiste diva van de klas behoudt. Deze charmante, ondeugende meisje zal je hart smelten op het moment dat ze in je armen straalt. Gedrag: Als jonge bulldogpuppy zal Chip alle typische bulldogbaby-gedragingen doorlopen: plotseling speelsheid, onhandige nieuwsgierigheid en veel misstapjes. Net als alle bulldogpuppies heeft ze vanaf het begin consistent grenzen en oefening nodig om te groeien tot een goedgemode, zelfverzekerde volwassene. Het is ook belangrijk om te begrijpen dat bulldogpuppies hun eigen “terrible toddler” fase doormaken – waarin ze luidruchtig, vol energie en erg “baby-shark” met hun bijten en kauwen worden. Dit is volledig normaal, maar vereist geduld, structuur en positieve oefening. Gezinnen die Chip overwegen moeten zich voorbereiden op deze fase en vastbesloten zijn om haar hierdoor te leiden met kalme, consistente ondersteuning. Chip is een prachtige kleine ziel die zal bloeien bij een gezin dat bereid is haar te verwelkomen, te leren en elke grappige, knuffelige, blijde moment van de puppyfase te genieten. Benodigdheden: Puppies – vooral bulldogpuppies – hebben tijd, geduld en consistentie nodig om gelukkige, zelfverzekerde volwassenen te worden. Ze hebben correcte voeding vanaf het begin nodig, met hoogwaardig, leeftijdsgeschikt voedsel dat gezonde groei, gewrichtsontwikkeling en algemeen welzijn ondersteunt. Goede voeding in deze vroege maanden vormt de basis voor hun hele leven. Oefening is even belangrijk. Puppies komen niet met de regels van een huis aan, en toilettraining gebeurt nooit overnacht. Ongevallen zijn normaal, en vooruitgang komt met routine, lof en zachte leiding. Vanaf het begin hebben ze duidelijke grenzen, structuur en positieve oefening nodig om te leren wat van hen wordt verwacht. Deze puppies worden alleen teruggeplaatst bij gezinnen die al een andere hond in huis hebben. De bestaande hond moet gesteriliseerd zijn, want wij plaatsen geen puppies bij gezinnen met ongesteriliseerde honden. Het is ook essentieel dat de bestaande hond vriendelijk is, nieuwkomers accepteert en geduld heeft met normale puppygedragingen, waaronder onhandig spel, kauwen en grenzen testen. Een veilig tuin is absoluut noodzakelijk. Puppies hebben een veilige buitenruimte nodig om te verkennen, te plassen, te spelen en hun energiebuien af te bouwen. Het ondersteunt ook hun toilettraining en helpt ze om de wereld te leren in een veilige, beheerste omgeving. Een huis met rustige, zachtere kinderen is ideaal, omdat puppies zich kunnen overstuur raken door lawaaierige of onvoorspelbare omgevingen. Ze nodigen een familie uit die hen vriendelijk leert, op de juiste manier behandelt en hen helpt om zich veilig te voelen terwijl ze leren en groeien. Tenslotte is het belangrijk dat routines onmiddellijk worden gestart – etentijden, toiletbezoeken, dutjes, oefeningssessies en slapen. Consistentie helpt puppies zich veilig te voelen en versnelt hun leerproces. De meeste "beweging" komt van vrij spel, het verkennen van hun omgeving en het interactie met hun gezin. Leash training kan beginnen zodra je puppy thuiskomt. Vroeg, positief contact met een riem en halsband helpt hen rustig en zelfverzekerder te leren. Dogs: Yes, Neutered dogs only. A BIT ABOUT ME Personality: Chip was the eighth born and final puppy in her litter, and she’s the sassy, super‑affectionate star of the group. She has the sweetest nature and absolutely loves being the centre of attention, soaking up every bit of fuss that comes her way. As her confidence grows, she’s exploring her world with bold little steps — all while maintaining her status as the undeniable diva of the litter. This charming, cheeky girl will melt your heart the moment she struts into your arms. Behaviour: As a young bulldog puppy, Chip will go through all the typical bulldog baby behaviours: bursts of playfulness, clumsy curiosity, and plenty of mischief. Like all bulldog pups, she’ll need consistent boundaries and training from day one to help her grow into a well‑mannered, confident adult. It’s also important to understand that bulldog puppies go through their own “terrible toddler” phase—where they become boisterous, full of beans, and very “baby‑shark” with their mouthing and nibbles. This is completely normal, but it does require patience, structure, and positive training. Families considering Chip must be prepared for this stage and committed to guiding her through it with calm, consistent support. Chip is a beautiful little soul who will thrive with a family ready to love her, teach her, and enjoy every silly, snuggly, joyful moment of puppyhood. Needs: Puppies—especially bulldog puppies—need time, patience, and consistency to grow into happy, confident adults. They require correct nutrition from the very beginning, with high‑quality, age‑appropriate food that supports healthy growth, joint development, and overall wellbeing. Good nutrition in these early months sets the foundation for their entire life. Training is just as important. Puppies don’t arrive knowing the rules of a home, and toilet training never happens overnight. Accidents are normal, and progress comes with routine, praise, and gentle guidance. From day one, they need clear boundaries, structure, and positive training to help them understand what’s expected of them. These puppies will only be rehomed to families who already have another resident dog in the home. The existing dog must be neutered, as we do not rehome puppies to homes with entire dogs. It’s also essential that the resident dog is friendly, accepting of newcomers, and tolerant of typical puppy behaviours, including clumsy play, chewing, and boundary‑testing. A secure garden is an absolute must. Puppies need safe outdoor space to explore, toilet, play, and burn off their bursts of energy. It also supports their toilet‑training routine and helps them learn about the world in a safe, controlled environment. A home with calm, gentle children is ideal, as puppies can become overwhelmed by loud or unpredictable environments. They need a family who will teach them kindly, handle them appropriately, and help them feel safe as they learn and grow. Finally, it’s important that routines are started straight away—feeding times, toilet breaks, naps, training sessions, and bedtime. Consistency helps puppies feel secure and accelerates their learning. With the right guidance, love, and structure, a bulldog puppy will grow into a confident, affectionate, and wonderfully loyal companion. Walk/exercise: Puppies have lots of little bursts of energy, but they also tire quickly and need plenty of rest. At this age, exercise should be gentle, short, and always appropriate for growing joints. Most of their “exercise” comes from free play, exploring their environment, and interacting with their family. Leash training can begin as soon as your puppy comes home. Early, positive exposure to a harness and lead helps them learn calmly and confidently. These first sessions should be short, fun, and pressure‑free—just getting used to the feel of the lead and learning to walk beside you. However, puppies must not go out in public places until after their second vaccinations and once your vet confirms they are safe to do so. Until then, all outdoor time should be in a secure private garden or carried in your arms when out and about. This protects them from diseases their immune system isn’t ready to handle yet. Even without public walks, puppies can learn so much at home—basic training, confidence building, exploring new textures and sounds, and practising calm lead walking in the garden or indoors. With gentle guidance, safe spaces, and age‑appropriate activity, a bulldog puppy will grow into a confident, happy little explorer. Travel: We recommend using a seatbelt restraint or travel crate whenever transporting dogs. **TRANSPORTING DURING WARMER WEATHER IT IS IMPORTANT TO KEEP THE CAR AS COOL AS POSSIBLE** Things to be aware of: Chip will be rehomed on a “to be spayed” contract, and she will be recalled in October 2027 to ensure this is completed in line with our welfare policies. All puppies from this litter will only be placed with families who have proven bulldog breed experience. Their adopters will be fully responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their second vaccinations, as well as the ongoing health and welfare of the puppy throughout their life. Puppies will not be rehomed to homes with same‑sex dogs or with any entire (unneutered) dogs. The resident dog must be neutered, friendly, and genuinely accepting of new dogs in the home, with the patience to tolerate normal puppy behaviours such as clumsy play, mouthing, and boundary‑testing. These requirements are in place to ensure every puppy has the safest, happiest start and the very best chance of thriving in their forever home. Children must understand that bulldogs need time to settle in and have space to rest peacefully and uninterrupted. Additional information from Chip’s foster family: Being part of Lula’s journey and watching her raise her puppies has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. She has been the most devoted, gentle, and instinctively wonderful mother—every single day she made us proud.
