Ideal Home: Suitable for first time owners, resident children 7+ Meet Franky – A Little Hound with a Big Heart At just 2 years old, Franky is still very much a baby, with his whole life ahead of him and so much love to give to the right family. Franky is a smaller male greyhound with a beautiful, glossy black coat and the sweetest nature. He's an affectionate, cuddly little man who enjoys spending time with people and has a playful side, too – he likes his toys and is sure to bring plenty of charm to his new home! Franky is a sensitive soul who can be a little unsure of himself when away from the familiarity of his kennel surroundings. He's well-mannered on his lead, though, and with gentle encouragement, patience and reassurance, we hope he'll grow in confidence as he discovers all the wonderful things life as a pet has to offer. A home with another greyhound may help him with this. His sweet nature and willingness to learn could make Franky a lovely choice for first-time greyhound owners, provided they're happy to take things at his pace and help him feel safe and secure in the big, wide world. He doesn't need to be rushed; he needs someone who understands that confidence takes time to grow and that the smallest steps forward are worth celebrating. Franky is a recent arrival at Crossing Cottage, so we're still getting to know him and discovering more about his individual personality. He's also currently recovering from a broken leg, so he'll need the appropriate care, rest and guidance during his recovery before he can fully embrace his new adventures. For now, this gorgeous boy deserves a little extra TLC while he heals, learns to trust his new surroundings and gets ready for the next chapter of his life. Could you be Franky's person?
