Johanna could travel to her foster home in early December! Our Johanna was found on a field in Romania. Alone and abandoned, likely abandoned – because Johanna was very sick. Luckily, our animal welfare workers found her and brought her to the vet. Johanna has adapted very well to her foster family and enjoys every cuddle. She is friendly to all people and gets along well with both male and female dogs. Through the daily regular walks, which Johanna loves, her condition and leash manners have improved. She is more laid-back on walks and enjoys some sniffing breaks. Cyclists, joggers, and children are no problem for her, and she meets unfamiliar dogs on the walkway openly and peacefully. She shows respect for cars, but she still needs to be given the necessary safety with finesse and patience. Johanna likes to be in the garden and she loves foraging games. Food is her great passion, and thus, possibly due to her time on the street, she is still a bit food-jealous. But her behavior is becoming more relaxed day by day. Johanna is a watchful female dog, but she is not a barker. Age-wise, she is a little on the mellow side, but she is otherwise in top condition. Johanna is very people-oriented and happy when she is with her foster family. Johanna is estimated to be around 10-12 years old. She is a friendly and sweet female dog, who is already more calm for her age. She gets along well with her canine buddies. Johanna had tumors that were surgically removed. Additionally, she also has a sticker-sarcoma, a tumor type that occurs on the genital areas. She is in treatment for this as well. Johanna is of medium size with a shoulder height of about 50-55 cm. We wish for Johanna a loving family that will give her a beautiful senior life. We do not know what she has already experienced in her life. She probably has never lived in a household and needs to learn that. She probably has never had loving people around her who take care of her and worry about her. But Johanna is content, and if she finds people who take her by the paw and lead her into her new life, she will be grateful and adapt well. A garden where she can lie and enjoy would be nice for her, but it is not a must. Our Johanna is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Johanna konnte Anfang Dezember in ihre Pflegestelle reisen! Unsere Johanna wurde in Rumänien auf einem Feld gefunden. Einsam und verlassen, vermutlich ausgesetzt – denn Johanna war sehr krank. Zum Glück haben unsere Tierschützer sie gefunden und konnten sie zum Tierarzt bringen. Johanna hat sich sehr gut bei ihrer Pflegefamilie eingelebt und genießt jede Streicheleinheit. Sie ist freundlich zu allen Menschen und verträgt sich sowohl mit Rüden als auch Hündinnen. Durch die täglichen regelmäßigen Spaziergänge, die Johanna sehr liebt, hat sich ihre Kondition und Leinenführigkeit verbessert. Sie ist eher gemütlich unterwegs und gönnt sich gerne einige Schnüffelpausen. Fahrradfahrer, Jogger und Kinder sind für sie kein Problem, auch fremden Hunden begegnet sie auf dem Gassigang offen und friedlich. Vor Autos hat sie Respekt, da muss ihr noch mit Feingefühl und Geduld die nötige Sicherheit gegeben werden. Johanna mag es, im Garten zu sein und sie liebt Futtersuchspiele. Futter ist sowieso ihre große Leidenschaft und daher, sicher auch bedingt durch ihre Zeit auf der Straße, ist sie noch ein bisschen futterneidisch. Aber das Verhalten entspannt sich von Tag zu Tag. Johanna ist eine wachsame Hündin, aber sie ist keine Bellerin. Altersbedingt „tröpfelt“ sie ein wenig, aber ist ansonsten topfit. Johanna ist sehr menschenbezogen und glücklich, wenn sie mit ihrer Pflegefamilie zusammen ist. Johanna wird auf etwa 10 – 12 Jahre geschätzt. Sie ist eine freundliche und süße Hündin, die ihrem Alter entsprechend schon ruhiger ist. Sie versteht sich gut mit ihren Hundekumpels. Johanna hatte Tumore, die operativ entfernt wurden. Außerdem hat sie auch ein Sticker-Sarkom, eine Tumorart die sich an den Geschlechtsteilen befinden. Auch hier ist Johanna in Behandlung. Johanna hat eine mittlere Größe mit einer Schulterhöhe von etwa 50 – 55 cm. Wir wünschen uns für Johanna eine liebevolle Familie, die ihr noch einen schönen Lebensabend schenkt. Wir wissen nicht, was sie in ihrem Leben bereits mitmachen musste. Vermutlich kennt sie es nicht, in einem Haushalt zu leben und muss das noch lernen. Vermutlich hatte sie auch nie liebe Menschen um sich, die sich um sie kümmern und sorgen. Aber Johanna ist genügsam und wenn sie Menschen findet, die sie an der Pfote nehmen und sie in ihr neues Leben führen, wird sie sich dankbar sein und sich gut einleben. Ein Garten, indem sie liegen und genießen kann, wäre schön für sie, ist aber kein Muss. Unsere Johanna ist kastriert, gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie besitzt einen gültigen EU-Heimtierausweis und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle auf ihren Gnadenplatz ohne Schutzgebühr ziehen. Wer schenkt unserer Seniorin noch ein lebenswertes Hundeleben?
