Mentos arrived at the shelter with Landrynka in August 2023. We don’t know what he’s been through, but he certainly doesn’t have positive associations with people. He’s afraid to leave his kennel and doesn’t allow anyone to touch him. Occasionally, when there are fewer people at the shelter, he’ll engage in friendly interactions with other dogs in the outdoor run. Mentos needs a patient home—ideally one that already has another trustworthy dog. For now, Mentos isn’t going for walks yet. We’d love your help in socializing Mentos. Gender: male. Born around 2020. By adopting a dog, you’re taking responsibility for the life of a living being for the next dozen or so years. An animal is not a possession. We do not give dogs away on chains! A condition of adoption is signing an adoption agreement, covering the costs of preventive care, and agreeing to potential pre- and post-adoption visits. It’s also a requirement that the dog undergo sterilization or castration within an agreed-upon timeframe, provided this procedure hasn’t already been performed.

🏠 Przebywa w schronisku na sektorze DMentos trafił do schroniska z Landrynką, w sierpniu 2023. Nie wiemy, co przeżył, ale na pewno nie ma dobrych skojarzeń z ludźmi. Boi się wychodzić z boksu, nie pozwala się dotykać. Czasem, gdy w schronisku jest już mniej osób, wchodzi w przyjazne interakcje z innymi psami na wybiegu. Mentos potrzebuje cierpliwego domu, najlepiej z innym, ufnym psem. Na razie Mentos nie wychodzi na spacery. Zwierzę nie jest rzeczą. Nie wydajemy psów na łańcuch! Warunkiem adopcji jest podpisanie umowy adopcyjnej, zwrot kosztów profilaktyki oraz zgoda na ewentualne wizyty przed i poadopcyjne. Warunkiem adopcji jest też wykonanie zabiegu sterylizacji/kastracji w ustalonym terminie, o ile zabieg ten nie był wykonany wcześniej.
