Mentos arrived at the shelter with Landrynka in August 2023. We don’t know what he’s been through, but he certainly doesn’t have positive associations with people. He’s afraid to leave his kennel and doesn’t allow anyone to touch him. Occasionally, when there are fewer people at the shelter, he’ll engage in friendly interactions with other dogs in the outdoor run. Mentos needs a patient home—ideally one that already has another trustworthy dog. For now, Mentos isn’t going for walks yet. We’d love your help in socializing Mentos. Gender: male. Born around 2020.
