09-05-26 Nardia is bij ons gekomen van een fokker om haar eeuwige thuis te vinden. Ze is een erg bezorgde meisje die op dit moment vrij afgesloten is, maar ondanks dat is ze makkelijk te behandelen. Met veel liefde en zorg zal ze binnenkort beginnen om uit haar schulp te komen. Ze vertrouwt sterk op de aanwezigheid van haar hondenvrienden voor steun en zelfvertrouwen en zal daarom minstens één andere vriendelijke en zelfverzekerde hond in haar nieuwe huis nodig hebben om haar onder hun vleugel te nemen terwijl ze leert over huiskamerleven en begint om uit haar schulp te komen. Aangezien Nardia nog nooit in een huis heeft gewoond, zullen haar adoptieouders geduldig en begripvol moeten zijn terwijl ze dingen leert zoals toilettraining en het zich aanpassen aan een woningomgeving. Ze loopt nog niet op een riem en zal moeten oefenen in een tuin tot ze meer zelfvertrouwen heeft om verder te gaan. Ze is begonnen met een halsband als eerste stap. Nardia zoekt een rustig en stil thuis waar ze op eigen tempo kan wennen en veel zorg, steun en begrip krijgt terwijl ze zich aanpast aan haar nieuwe leven. Met tijd, geduld en liefde zijn we zeker dat ze steeds meer zelfvertrouwen zal opbouwen en haar mooie persoonlijkheid zal tonen. Nardia is bij ons gekomen met een slijmvliesontsteking in haar linkeroog die door onze dierenarts zal worden behandeld. Deze hond kan worden geadopteerd met een residentiehond.

Nardia has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived she was a very worried little girl, although she was easy to handle it was clear that she was in need of lots of love and TLC. She has recently moved to a wonderful foster home where she is getting to experience home life for the first time. She is feeling understandably overwhelmed and quite shut down at the moment, but she is slowly beginning to settle in to her new surroundings and is a very sweet little girl. At the moment she spends much of her time observing from the sofa and isn't feeling quite brave enough to explore just yet. She is already beginning to enjoy soft chin and ear rubs, which is a wonderful sign that she is starting to relax and trust. Nardia will be looking for a calm and quiet, adult only home where she can settle in at her own pace. She will need adopters who have experience of scared ex-breeding dogs and who will not expect too much for her too soon. She relies heavily on the company of her doggy friends for reassurance and confidence and so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to take her under their wing while she learns about home life and begins to come out of her shell. As Nardia has never lived in a home before, everything is very new for her at the moment. She is carried outside to the toilet and will initially hide away, but when given some space she will do her business outdoors. She has had a few overnight accidents, which is to be expected. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and harness and will need to practice in a garden until she has gained more confidence to venture further. Nardia will need plenty of TLC, reassurance, and understanding as she adjusts to her new life. With time, patience, and love, we are sure she will continue to grow in confidence and show her lovely personality. Nardia has had a skin tag removed from her left eye at the time of her spay. This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
