Für Bobolino wird ein Zuhause gesucht, in dem er der einzige Vogel ist. Es ist wichtig, dass er artgerecht gehalten wird. Er benötigt ein geräumiges Gehege und die Möglichkeit, ausgiebig Freiflug zu genießen. Bobolino ist ein anhänglicher Vogel der, wenn seine Bezugsperson den Wohnraum verlässt, gleich sich lautstark äußert, dass es ihm nicht passt. Auch seine Bezugsperson teilen ist nicht seine Stärke, er möchte jemand ganz für sich alleine.
