Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier)

Male

Here is Bobolino, a very special cockatiel looking for a loving home. Bobolino is a unique talent and requires special attention and care due to his background. As a young cockatiel, he unfortunately was misshaped by humans, leading to aggressive behavior around other animals. He must always be kept isolated to protect the other animals. However, Bobolino loves human company and is incredibly tame. He enjoys sitting on your shoulder or flying to your hand and accompanying you. A home is being sought for Bobolino where he is the only bird. We also cannot make any statements about how he interacts with other pets in the household. It is important that he is kept in an appropriate manner. He needs a spacious cage and the opportunity to enjoy extensive free flight. Additionally, it would be ideal if you could spend a lot of time and have a lot of patience with him to ensure he has a fulfilling senior life. If you are interested in offering Bobolino a nice and peaceful home, we look forward to your inquiry.

Frequently asked

Adopting Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier), answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier)?: Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tierheim Uhlenkrog Kiel handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) if I live in another country?: Sometimes. Whether a bird can move between countries depends on the species and the rules in both countries, and some species need permits or have restrictions. Ask Tierheim Uhlenkrog Kiel what paperwork and transport they require, and check the import rules of your country before you commit.
Is Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?: What a bird comes with (vet checks, vaccinations, identification, paperwork) varies by shelter and species. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask Tierheim Uhlenkrog Kiel directly what is included and what Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) still needs.
What happens if Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) isn't the right fit?: Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tierheim Uhlenkrog Kiel early rather than rehoming privately; they know Nymphensittich Bobolino (Achtung kein Partnertier) and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?: TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
