With patience and lots of love, our Patto has already made beautiful progress. Today, he loves walks, cuddles, and the attention of his volunteers. But life in the cage weighs heavily on him, to the point that he suffers and even hurts himself. Twice already, Patto has experienced adoption and twice, he was returned too soon, without being given the chance to show everything he has to offer. Yes, Patto can scavenge through trash or climb on counters, he is a dog with its instincts. Yes, he still needs help managing his resource guarding, but it can be worked on, with the best combination: gentleness, respect, love, and positive training.

Avec de la patience et beaucoup d’amour, notre Patto a déjà fait de beaux progrès. Aujourd’hui, il aime les balades, les câlins et l’attention de ses bénévoles. Mais la vie en box lui pèse terriblement, tellement qu’il en souffre au point de se blesser lui-même. Deux fois déjà, Patto a connu l’adoption et deux fois, il a été rendu trop vite, sans qu’on lui laisse le temps de montrer tout ce qu’il a à offrir. Oui, Patto peut fouiller les poubelles ou grimper sur le comptoir, c’est un chien, avec ses instincts. Oui, il a encore besoin d’aide pour gérer sa protection de ressources, mais ça se travaille, avec le meilleur combo qui existe, la douceur, le respect, l'amour et l'éducation positive.
