Pig (nicknamed Pigou) is a dog with a heart-wrenching backstory. Rescued from abuse in La Réunion, he was brought back to France and found the love of a wonderful mistress... before losing her. Since then, he has been waiting at our shelter for far too long. Paralyzed in his hind legs, Pigou moves around with his little cart. His disability requires daily care and a lot of attention. That's why he has never found a family. But Pigou is above all a big-hearted dog: joyful, tender, full of life, he adores cuddles, "wheelchair" walks, and human company. In his mind, he's still a puppy. He is looking for a very present family, living on one level without stairs, ready to offer him care, love, patience, and security. He gets along well with other dogs. Not other animals. Pigou is just waiting for a family to finish his life surrounded by love. And could it be yours? Pig que l'on surnomme Pigou est un chien au parcours bouleversant. Rescapé de maltraitance à La Réunion, il a été rapatrié en France, puis a connu l'amour d'une formidable maîtresse... avant de la perdre. Depuis, il attend au refuge depuis trop longtemps. Paralysé de l'arrière-train, Pigou se déplace grâce à son petit chariot. Son handicap demande des soins quotidiens et beaucoup de présence. C'est pour cela qu'il n'a jamais encore trouvé sa famille. Mais Pigou, c'est avant tout un cœur immense : Joyeux, tendre, plein de vie, il adore les câlins, les balades « à roulettes » et la compagnie humaine. Dans sa tête, c'est toujours un chiot. Il recherche une famille très présente, vivant de plain-pied sans étage, prête à lui offrir soins, amour, patience et sécurité. Il s'entends avec les chiens. Pas les autres animaux. Pigou n'attend plus qu'une famille pour finir sa vie entouré d'amour. Et si c'était chez vous ? Tous ses soins seront pris en charge par la Fondation.
