Year of birth: 2019 Sheldon's beginnings at the animal shelter were very tough. He panicked and feared humans, which sometimes led to aggressive behavior. However, baring his teeth was more of a sign of fear and trying to scare off the person approaching him. In the kennel run, he maintained a distance by jumping onto the bunk or hiding in it. However, systematic work with him began to yield results. SZELDON started to change his attitude towards humans. He allowed for closer contact. He approached, took treats from the hand, and sniffed the caregiver, gradually reducing the distance. And then came a breakthrough moment when he allowed the harness to be put on first and then the leash. He paused for a moment during this process because he still wasn't entirely trusting the caregiver. SZELDON made a huge progress. He is still a bit unsure, but with each subsequent meeting, he opens up more. He craves contact with the caregiver, snuggles into him, and demands petting. He also allows other people to approach him without any problem. Walking with him is sheer pleasure. He doesn't pull, responds nicely to calls, and also shows no aggression towards other dogs. SZELDON needs a calm, patient, and loving home, and then he will very quickly trust and become a loyal friend.

Rok urodzenia: 2019 Początki Szeldona w schronisku były bardzo ciężkie. Panicznie bał się człowieka, co momentami powodowało u niego zachowania agresywne. Szczerzenie zębów było jednak bardziej objawem strachu i odstraszenia osoby, która do niego podchodziła. W kojcu zachowywał dystans wskakując na budę lub się w niej chowając. Jednak systematyczna praca z nim zaczęła pomału przynosić rezultaty. Szeldon zaczął zmieniać swoje nastawienie do człowieka. Pozwalał na coraz bliższy kontakt. Podchodził, brał smaczki z ręki, obwąchiwał opiekuna zmniejszając coraz bardziej dystans. No i nastąpił przełomowy moment, w którym pozwolił założyć sobie najpierw obrożę a następnie szelki. Zamierał na moment podczas tej czynności, ponieważ jeszcze nie do końca zaufał opiekunowi. Szeldon zrobił ogromny postęp. Nadal jest jeszcze trochę niepewny, ale przy każdym kolejnym spotkaniu otwiera się coraz bardziej. Pragnie kontaktu z opiekunem, wtula się w niego, domaga głaskania. Dopuszcza też bez problemu do siebie inne osoby. Spacer z nim to sama przyjemność. Nie ciągnie, ładnie reaguje na zawołanie, nie wykazuje też agresji w stosunku do innych psów.
