Tuptuś is a hearing and sight-impaired old dog. Although he seems a bit withdrawn in his own world, he actually really needs a person. In the kennel, he often stands waiting for a walk, which he takes very slowly. It can be seen that when he leaves the animal shelter, and can feel soft grass under his paws, he starts to relax. He likes to walk at his own pace and sniff around. He allows being picked up, although he doesn't really like it. When petted on the head, he shakes himself amusingly, as if we messed up his carefully arranged hair, and he immediately has to fix it. He likes scratching on the belly or scratching behind the ear, but rather one should be prepared for the fact that this is a dog who likes closeness on his own terms. He can live with another calm dog, provided that this dog won't be too aggressive towards him. Tuptuś really needs peace and respect for his boundaries. In return, he will simply be by his person's side. And we believe he will be happy.

Tuptuś to niedosłyszący i niedowidzący staruszek. Choć sprawia wrażenie trochę zanurzonego w swoim świecie gburka, tak naprawdę bardzo potrzebuje człowieka. W boksie często stoi czekając na spacer, na który idzie bardzo powolutku. Widać jednak, że po wyjściu ze schroniska, gdy może pod łapkami poczuć miękką trawkę, zaczyna się relaksować. Lubi chodzić we własnym tempie i coś sobie wąchać. Pozwala brać się na ręce, choć nie bardzo to lubi. Głaskany po główce, otrząsa się zabawnie, jakbyśmy zmierzwili jego staranie ułożone włosy, a on natychmiast musi to naprawić. Drapanko w kuperek czy drapanie za uchem lubi, ale raczej należy się nastawić na to, że to pies, który lubi bliskość na własnych zasadach. Może zamieszkać z innym spokojnym psem, pod warunkiem że ten nie będzie wobec niego zbyt napastliwy. Tuptuś bardzo potrzebuje spokoju i poszanowania jego granic. W zamian po prostu będzie przy swoim człowieku. I wierzymy, że będzie szczęśliwy.
